I have started a 7 game series with JOHNNYROCKET24 as he has challenged me. I made 7 games by the parameters I described earlier. If he beats me in at least 4 or more of those games, I will publically retract my previous statement that all conquerers are point farming cheaters. Check out games 10867468 thru 10867474.

heh, well i concede 7 would be better! but i was just re-posting what Jamie put up with links... and Rocket's not joined them yet. I will be happy to post a whole programme once I know it's there.

No I didnt see it, but I am totally unfamiliar with over half the maps on this site. A cook could take 4 of 7 games from me depending on what maps the system chose. The main point of my beef is that conquerers get more credit then what they deserve. I don't believe I am even close to the best player on the site, but whoever is has probably never held the conquerer medal. I do believe that Johnnyrocket and Blitzaholic are superior to myself no matter what the parameters, but I challenged EVERY conquerer, so I'll take my whoopin. I should have known Johnny would accept the challenge since he and had a history together about 4 years back. It seems most of the games top 50 players play mainly play team games. When I only played team games, I shot clear up to Colonel and almost never lost. After switching back to regular games my rank dropped off and fluctuates from Corporal to Major. My challenge was that conquers would have a tough time beating me in a standard came of risk. Although my plan appears somewhat flawed at the moment. It would seem I erred in my choice of game with Johnnyrocket. Both of us gained an enormous advantage simply by going first. I usually don't play 2 player games. Probably should have picked chained forts, as unlimited is actually not regular risk, and like I said gives whoever goes first an advantage. Eitherway, we have split the first two games, and both games could have went eitherway with a little luck. Still though going first was key in both games. If ljex wants to play me thats fine, but on a classic map or perhaps a map that plays like a classic map, like Asia, Italy, USA, etc. Nothing with weird rules or hard to read maps. There are maps I am convinced I would lose 100 out of 100 times no matter who I played. Unfortunately, I am one of those people who is black and white in their way of thinking. I either believe I will almost certainly win or almost certainly lose. There's rarely a middle ground with me. I am only comfortable on standard maps with rules most Risk players would be familiar with.

random was only to reduce the luck factor of a map like classic which is played so often everyone knows it. I have sent new terms to your wall, essentially for those reading he sets up 14 games i choose 7 of those 14 to join and we play those.
ljex has also challenged me. I changed the parameters somewhat as unlimited forts gives a huge advantage to whomever goes first in a two person games. I selected maps that don't have a big luck factors involved such as maps that give you 12 men to start the game or something silly like that. I chose manual, chained as that is how you would play on a regular risk board at home. Playing ljex will be interesting as I am completely unfamiliar with him. I already know Johnny is superior to me though I still plan to beat him at least 4 out of 7 times. I have no clue what will happen with ljex. Good Luck ljex

He was chatting right before he stopped playing, and has been playing in his other games without deadbeating. Its not like he's playing his other turns, and just completely missing our game at the top of his "My Games" list. He's just mad he got beat. It's not like I beat him 6-1 or 7-0 or something. 4-3 is nothing to be ashamed of, just play.

meh, you got 5 of 7 starts in manual sequential games and if that wasn't enough i could very easily have won 5/7 if not for your continuous 3 card mixed/blue sets in flat rate games. Fun how you fail to mention those things, or just the fact that you picked some extremely luck based settings on small maps. Take you win but please realize it means very little in a 7 game series.

so quick to jump to conclusions...one missed turn does not mean i will deadbeat it just means i got up later than i expected

I was lucky enough to be Conqueror for a short time , have never cheated nor employed any device that could remotely be considered farming , think I have played 1 game of freestyle , a handfull of 1 v 1 and barely any newbs since 2007. In light of this , and the fact that I personally have knowledge of several other Conquerors that dont fit your bill , plus the fact that you took a long break from this site ( so have no idea what went down ), you might wish to reconsider your rather silly generalisation.
PS As a newb I played a guy who was far more experienced and a higher rank , I kicked his arse , he never progressed to Conqueror , his name was Jamie

so you chose flat rate, unlimited reinforcement in 1 vs 1, and you talk about skills? in these settings blind fold monkey could beat top player with enough luck with sets. hack, even GLG would have a chance against someone other then cooks...
He is friendly and I like his speed games. Actually it is the only game play I admire and I know I can not be as good as he is + it is exciting and funny even watching some of his speed games
no. I am watching you for a long time now because you are an extremely good player and I am learning from your games. But till now I sometimes do not understand some of your deep strategies and I do not feel ready to play against you. If I study you for a couple of months I might dare for the impossible but for time being I am too afraid to accept a challenge.
