Don't worry. After my Mongol map is done I've got a draft version of a Roman Empire map to see if I can tackle the previously impossible map...

I was really interested for a moment there but seriously - someone should make this map. It looks like it has potential. Also, we already have Alexander's Empire which wasn't half as good.

I am actually working on a Roman Empire map as well intending to focus on it more once I finish the Malta map. However I intend to make more that one map about the Roman Empire as I have a lot of ideas in my mind on how to glorify the longest lasting empire of all time! ;)

Cool. I like the map in this thread a lot, but would like it even more if it used the Latin names for the countries (Gallia instead of Gaul, for example.)

Regarding this issue, I made a map of the Roman Empire about two months ago that used the original Latin names, and also had gameplay that was a little closer to most other boards. I don't have the tech skills to match the graphics of the boards coming out now though, so maybe we could combine the three boards currently in production?

Conan: "To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women."

Why? All you're doing is pushing maps that need feedback down the page.

The cartographer hasn't replied to this thread for over a year, I'm sure we can all assume it has been abandoned.
