Funniest comment I've read in weeks! Thanks, Spockers!

These non-geographic maps usually have a playability innovation... I think that is the point. Just making a map look like Sudoku isn't enough. When you play this map it needs to be more than just a grid of square territories. For example: if you could make a rule that no two territories in a row can have the same army count, that would be a whole new type of game and could have interesting effects on play, but CC doesn't allow for that kind of rule change. It would allow something like saying any "4" square can attack other "4" squares... but this would result in all the squares having 12 borders. But you need something like that; something that makes the game fun to play, not just fun to look at.

As it is now, it is just a race for the four corners... everything else would be impossible to hold until late in the game.

LOL.

I don't think you can do much to add any extra appeal to the map. Personally I don't find the map appealing at all and I don't think that will change no matter how you paint the picture.

The same reason conquer 4 was abandoned, it was just too cool for the site.

Also, people that didn't like the other symetrical maps should like this one because it is sooo open.

Well, I'm still having trouble seeing how the army numbers are going to fit on it without obstructing the view of what Soduko number you are on.

EDIT: Other then that issue I don't see any real problems with this map.

The only thing I can come up with, and I don't think you'll like it, is to make all the Soduko numbers smaller and put into the upper left corners of the squares they are in so the army numbers can be in the middle without overlapping anything.
