pmeisner@pmeisne & tlk70 secret diplomacy [noted] KRK

Post by koozer »

Accused:

pmeisner@pmeisne
tlk70

The accused are suspected of:

Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):

10747922
I also strongly suspect all fog games where both players are playing together
Looking at prior game history, Mightor posted a concern about secret diplomacy with these two on 2012-03-05

Comments:
Indisputable fact/evidence: With effectively 3 equal armies remaining in this game (pmeisner@pmeisne, tlk70, koozer) [30+ armies each], in round 9, koozer broke through massive tk70's lines (Greenland and Alaska) in North America only to find a single tk70 & pmeisner army lining their Canada / US border (BC, Prairies, Upper Canada, Lower Canada / Western USA, Midwest USA, New England). Only idiots would have a single army across their borders with only 3 large equally matched armies remaining in the game... or else they were conducting secret diplomacy.

See game log for more details.

When I confront them with my findings, pmeisner@pmeisne mentions nothing of North America and his only defense is that they have massive armies between them in Africa(?!). If the CC Gods are able to see game history behind the fog whenvever these guys play together, I would be shocked if this behavior is not common & the reason behind both their extraordinary recent winning records when playing together.

As far as I know, these players play fair. They have quite a history together, but in the 2 games I've played with them, they were playing as individuals, but that was about 3 months ago.

You might wanna look at game Game 10517846 too.

At round 25 pmeisner@pmeisne virtually suicided on me, ending with my chances. tlk70 won the game.

Leaving small armies at the borders is a technique I oft employ called the "bait and catch." Some well-versed competitors rarely fall for it and allow my less-defended territories go unscathed fearing that a larger army lurks behind it giving me an advantage to go on the offensive in my subsequent round. I'd also suggest using it as a bluff when in fact no larger army exists behind the meager lone defender. Quite economical in nature.

Without more indication of motive, I must beseech the esteemed Administrator Karl to dismiss this complaint with utmost sincerity.

For Frodo.

DrewbieDoo - I am not an administrator, just a volunteer Multi Hunter on the Cheating & Abuse team, with a very small fan club. I will be signing autographs at the Galleria with Tiffany and Kriss Kross for $5....

I can foresee you gaining $10 off that gig. Kriss Kross, much less.
