No kidding. I'm tired of the stigma of being the best. It's a lot to live up to all the time.

So this means you are co-chairing? If so kick ass...I'm going to get drunk and relax.

As for playoffs. Playoffs are essential. The whole idea was for this league to parody an American sports league.

I would have called it something else (like the National Clan League), but most clans are globally diverse. Figured it would be more insulting to ignore that.

What would you have the name be? Clans are International.

And it is not just USA that has leagues set up in this format. Baseball leagues all over the world are setup up like this. As are the majority of basketball leagues. It's not set up like European soccer. No apologies.

The Grim Reapers are interested, looks like a fun event, I like a league that follows an American sports league like this with playoffs.

From a CD standpoint.... Privs and Medals will be issued. There is even a possible MVP Medal up for grabs.

I actually like it. Nice work. I would enjoy playing it. But the truth to the matter is, I don't think you will have any of the very top sign up for it. Too many games already for the clans that make it deep into the Conqueror's Cup and the league's later rounds.

But, that could just mean more opportunity for other clans to step up and win.

So if I understand correctly, you are saying "might as well sign us (TOFU) up now."

Cool got it.

BTW. Thank you for the kind words and I hope you enjoy playing it.

Nope, you understood that 100% wrong. ;)

Too busy as is. All I see us playing is the CCup, CLA, and TLO.

Just the usually suspects. Don't you ever get tired of round robin and tournament after tournament? Oh well. TOFU's loss.

The problem is, there's already enough stuff going on. The top clans tend to get further in the already existing tournaments and leagues, so there's a lot more games to play. Nothing you can do about that, I'm afraid.

I'm aware of this, however, that was the point of coming up with something new and different from the same mundane crap. Change doesn't happen over night and takes time for people to accept it. People have to be willing to try something new and stand up for it instead of following the herd and I'm hoping there's enough clans out there that are willing to give this a shot and make it a success.

I think some clans will give it a chance and make it a success. But I think it will be the middle tier to lower clans that do. The top clans already have their priority list of things they deem the most prestigious and they will focus efforts there.

Other clans, who get eliminated earlier, have a demand for more things to do once they are eliminated (and top clans are still playing). They will be the clans that will make things like this a success.

How does the "1 clan rule" work? Assuming my clan does not want to participate, could I represent another clan in the ICL (while still representing KORT for CL4)?

when you say to represent professional sports league you mean us sports leagues..
because for me the way US professional sports leagues work makes no sense and is completely unfair, as I don't think the best wins with that system.

While I generally like idea of this event, after seeing this rule which not allow to play my favourite settings, I am sure I wont participate in this league.
If your argument is that unlimited forts on "normal" maps give huge advantage to first playing team, that is even worse for home tem to choose that settings because they give gift to away team to possibly have huge advantage if they start first, so I do not see how it can be bad at all for away team if home team choose to take that risk.

The settings are not only used in USA. These are the settings that will be used. If you don't like it, that's tough.

Perhaps that could be negotiated, what settings are you looking to use josko?
