As do I, (the original idea that is) it'd be useful in terminator games. Means you wouldn't instantly be a target for being a major or colonel or whatever.

Hm, so some sort of 'Stealth' option, perhaps selectable in your profile...or when you join/create games.

Could list those who are currently in 'Stealth' as <User 2>, etc.

I think this would be an interesting setting for Terminator games at least...give everyone a fair shot. I personally would actually like to see it for terminator games at least, and perhaps as a tourney option, but not for all.

We'll have to see if it is possible.

I think it's a good idea, but only for terminator games.

A tourny with it.... eh. :?

Hey duggie most people would know who you were once you typed in the game chat. You have your own style in the chat.

good Idea, I'm sick of being targetted... I'm not too big on the whole points thing either...

but better then a kick in the groin though eh?

and as fo my chat,,, id have to get the old old ladie to decode it for me.

ie....i would say,,, go f*ck yourself asspirate and learn how to play!

she would type.... excuse me sir. Would you like some help or tips on strategy ? If you would let me know and I would be glad to help you.

this will be sweet, something about higher ranks is intimidating and can alter your strategy in respect to them, but this cancels that out. I like it

Suggestion - Annonymous Player option

Post by yorkiepeter »

<Subject>:

When creating a game to have the option to make all players annonymous, so that no-one is aware of who they are playing

<Body>:

So if I wanted to join, say a 5 player game then i would only see Player 1(45,0), player 2 (10,6)

the figures in brackets being the feedback score.

I believe this is needed because now that I am rising in rank in standard games for no other reason then my rank i am targetted by all lower ranks either because high ranking players are seen as a threat before they even start - or get the high ranker out of the game and its more points for whoever wins.

Very few high ranked players play standard now because of this and it would perhaps encourage these players back.

Not only that, but it would also mean the present scoring system would become fairer.

I do like it - but not sure about the feedback levels... you might be able to identify via them... especially the top players...

Think JohnnyRocket - he's got loads of positives and 7 negs... he'd be obvious in this situation.

good point, so what about a ratio/percentage. johnny could be expressed as 20-1, superstud1234 as 2-11.

you do need something to stop the spoilers such as superstud. but as it is for standard games it probably doesn't matter that much.

Could be fun trying to work out who u are playing which could be revealed at the end of the game

Oh definitely - the results should be reveiled at game end... ratio would cut down but might still be able to work out - esp if you have 0 negs?

Perhaps a 1 2 3 4 5 scale...

If your ratio is over 10+ then you are 5... if you are less then you get less...

i.e. a player with 20-1 would be a 5... but a player with 100-21 would be a 4.

So ratio /2 max 5?

Me too. Talking for myself, I don't play low ranked players in standard games because it's not fun to play against people who attack randomly and viciously. The points do play a big part, but it's mainly the aggravation in these games that encourage me to stay away from them.
