Hiya Jippd,

Just a thought for the next tourney that would make the scoring really interesting. If I win a game in round 10 and get 10 points then my opposition would get a score of -10 instead of zero. It makes staying alive really important.

Hmm that could work and then I wouldn't need the rules about nuking yourself out or giving the games away earlier. Might solve all of my problems. Let me ponder the idea but I think that will be the solution.

So whatever you would win your opponent would lose.. But it would be the same formula. Right?

Standings have been updated.

And keefie I thought about that, but that doesn't help people skipping turns to not nuke themselves out which would still require an additional penalty

I like Keefie idea for your next tourney that would be a great idea...

I don't see the point of nuking yourself and give point to the opponent except if its at RD20 for fun.
I've not encounter people that skip turn intentionnaly but i guess that you should lose the game (according to the RD you start skipping turn). And you should lose the balance of the number of PTS. If your opponent score 12, than you would lose 9 pts.

no I think he means if your opponent scores 12 you lose 12...if they score 15 you lose 15. So the incentive to skip turns is still there. Say you have 5 cards and would have to nuke yourself out...you can skip two turns and delay the points by 2.

And I don't know why people would nuke themselves out either giving the games away but it has happened twice

About to send out round 4 games. Auron has gone freemium and I can't get a response from him. If he does not respond, his games may be disregarded and we would finish with 18 players

Not when your oponnent nuke himself with 4 spoils forgoting he had only 1 terri left at RD9 ... Guess you were damn lucky he did that. I think you will finish 1 or 2 pts ahead of me :x

i now have the 4th or 5th game where i hold 1 terit and the spoil that goes with it.. i am informing my opponants that i hold the spoil and if they agree, they can just get it over with and claim their 1 point. i think in any case the tournament organizer should be informed, but otherwise i'd say go for it.

Talking about that game Game 10691436 where he nuke himself without knowing it was his last territory (he had only 4 spoils he could have wait or do like most people do - let turn goes...until he reach RD 20).

That why i said that since i'm at 80 and i think he (stevens) finish with 84 or 85 points. (or something like that)

Thats why i said he was lucky ;p cuz if he had wait a few more RD he would be behind me with a few pts.

Anyways he deserves that lucky win with over 90% win on the tourney

if you read game notes he did not notice it was his last region till after he did it. He used the nuke trying to break my bonus. Yes i got lucky but no rules were broken i just got lucky

shoop76 has been eliminated for violating the rules as his sitter eliminated two opponents by attacking. I now need to go back and redo the whole bracket so I'll have it updated tonight. There are still five games to finish playing
