Welcome to: Woopin's 11th - City Mogul Singles

SETTINGS:
Standard, Auto, Sequential, Nuclear, Unlimited, Foggy, 20 Round Limit, Casual

As the name suggests, all games will be played on the CITY MOGUL map.

This will be an 18 Player Tournament. Each Game will consist of 3 Players. Players will be assigned to games using http://www.random.org.

[spoiler=Round 1]Each player will be Randomly assigned to 3 Games. So there will be a total of 18 Games in Round 1. 9 Players will advance to Round 2. Obviously, any player that wins all three of their games will advance. If I have done my math right, it is possible for 8 Players to win 2 Games. If 8 Players win 2 Games each, they will all advance. However, I suspect we will end up with 1, maybe 2 who win 3 games, a few that win 2 Games and then several with 1 Win. So advancement will be based on the most number of wins. Once the Players with the most wins are identified, the remaining players with 1 win will be compared to see who else advances. The First Tie Breaker will be be who won their Game in the FEWEST number of Rounds. If several Players win their Game in the same number of Rounds, but not all them can advance, the Second Tie Breaker will be who lost their other two games in the MOST number of Rounds. If there is still a Tie after this evaluation, the Players who are Tied will play a Tie Breaker Game. So the first objective is to win as many Games as possible, but also to win them as quickly as possible. On the other hand, if you are going to lose, you want to extend the Game as long as possible.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Round 2]The 9 Players who advanced from Round 1 will be Randomly assigned to 3 Games. So there will be a total of 9 Games in Round 2. A total of 4 Players will Advance to Round 3. The Players that advance will be determined using the same procedure as in Round 1.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Round 3]The 4 Players who advance from Round 2 will be entered into 3 4 - Player Games. If a single Player wins 2 or 3 Games, they will win the Tournament. If a different Player wins each Game, the 3 winners will play one Final Game and the winner of that Game will win the Tournament.[/spoiler]

Because each player will be playing 3 games at a time, only Premiums will be accepted. For this Tourney there is no Minimum Score requirement, but you must have an Attendance Record of at least 95%. Once invitations are sent out, you will have 48 hours to join your games. If you don't join by then, I will send you a PM giving you 24 final hours to join. After that you will be removed and a Reserve will take your place.
