thanks mob for helping me on the votecounts, there has been a lot of activety. i have readed up on everything and it seems like the confusion is not above normal so no extra information on the setup seems to be needed (as expected because there are at least some experienced players in here).
just to be clear though, i don't know where exactly i got the name brother lorenzo from, but it would have probably been better if i called it frair lawrence/brother laurence. in case people are using the play to know what's going on (as this mafia is based on the play) just replace the name lorenzo for laurence.
LOL, thank you Zimmah. So that pretty much confirms the General as third party and at the same time Edoc. My guess on what has happened so far. General has the twilight role. And beings Edoc plays alot of these games and is very good at them. General targeted him first,which in turn gave up Edoc's role yet he claims not to be a Montegue, the only one that might do that would be juliet who marry's romeo therefore in actuality a capulat. Thus general's quick claim and Edoc saying to general are we clear, meaning both are third party. But thats my guess and I could be off by leaps and bounds
Well, the mod basically confirmed General for us... Maybe a man of the cloth shouldn't be such a douche though.
Anyway, I think I might need to re-read this. Or at least watch the movie with Leonardo diCaprio.
To me, I would say that the things that jgordon has said are true. This isn't a typical town/mafia game. It seems more like an equally balanced, faction game. I would agree with there being 4 factions. However, I would also guess that each person may have different win conditions, so it will be interesting, because everyone may have different endgame goals.
Anyway, dazza, since you softclaimed, do you care to fully claim your reporter type role?
i have updated the opening post with a summary of the play on youtube. those who have never seen the play anywhere are adviced to watch it, so you'll have an idea of which characters may be in it.

Stop skimming. All of these have been refuted time and time again. The mod scene proves edoc is NOT 3rd party. I have SPECIFICALLY stated that I did not perform any REVEAL ability. I also stated that I have no TWILIGHT ROLE. Edoc was asking if I could clear him. I cannot. Bottom line, read the posts, man......... EVERYTHING you just said has been refuted already. Geeze...

Yup I might as well since I am a "retard". I am Brother John. I am a survivor but each night I can target 1 player and that players faction is revealed the next day. I also have a 1 in 6 chance of being pm'd their exact role.

we only have 2 third-parties claimed. Most likely not a real threat to either side. Of course, your alignment is also known. Which can either help or hurt you, depending who is on the montague side.

Yeah, I don't think the General was really skimming there. He just wanted it to be known that you 2 were not together.
And dazza, you had a choice, that's why I asked. The 1 in 6 chance of getting the full role is kind of odd. Pretty low odds, really. In a game this size, I bet we do not make it much further than 6 days as a whole, so you may not even make it that far.
I don't buy General's claim of being invincible, but I don't know if I really care either.
