You bet... LB should be sending you the games soon... sorry we have been scrambling the past couple days to finalize the try-to-be-as-equitable-as-possible-for-games between the PACK and CL4 games. A few of us were away for the long weekend and that slowed us down.

Don't worry though, our death star is on it's way. :D

If anyone could post the officially approved, CLA-sanctioned fog rule either in the OP or here somewhere, that would be great, just to avoid any discrepancies since I think I remember something happened with Maert in one of the previous Pack wars on the specifics of what the fog rule entailed?

I apologize for my ignorance, but I dont know what the CLA is! Maybe this one is close enough...................... Fog Rule:

If the second team to join a foggy game also gets the first turn, they must hold their attack for 12 hours or until a member of the opposing team announces that they have taken their snapshot. Should that team accidentally break this agreement, then they will give all relevant information to their opponents in the game chat. eg. territories taken during the first turn, plus the owners of any other territory thrown into the fog as a result of the attack (Note that this does not necessarily include attack information).

The rule can be ignored, if the following conditions are met;

a) No borders are shared by both teams at the start, such as Poland, Feudal, AoR, Woodboro etc.

b) If there is no intent to attack an enemy position, but to only drop, fort and leave, then the turn may be taken.

In short, the turn may be taken, if the enemy will not be losing a territory and are still able to see the map as it was on the original setup.

Once the second team to play, have their snap, they will announce it in the chat, so that the game can commence.

A breach of the rule will NOT result in the game being forfeited, unless; on game completion (when the fog is lifted), it shows that the information given, was incorrect.

It is also good practice (not obligatory), to have any clan member leave a reminder of the rule in the gamechat, once they see the game has started. Plus, for the clan leader to post a reminder on the clan forum.

Also, if the game is part of a tournament (created with privs), “12hr” could be included in the gaming label, eg “Home games, batch 2, 12hr rule applies”

I'm thinking Star Wars, but without googling it can't be sure. I saw episode 4 seven times in the theater during it's original release, would love to have a realistic Stormtrooper costume (I guess we didn't know it was politically incorrect to call them that in 1977) for Halloween if not for all the manual sanding/painting/finishing to make it look right.

As far as gaming is concerned, Wolfenstein 3D, MOO, HoMM, Civ2, C&C, NFS, Doom, Duke 3D, Syndicate were some of my best games. Quake and Half Life were very cool but Unreal Tournament was my favorite fps. I was quite capable in the Lan party scene when we dragged our computers around to other peoples houses to play. But alas, abuse of my hands by playing too many games have taken their toll and now CC is the bulk of my video game playing  So KOTOR means nothing to this old gamer ;)

I do not consider myself a gamer by any means. The last video game system I bought was Mattel Intellivision
Released September 1979
After successful test marketing in 1979, Mattel Electronics released its Intellivision system nationwide in late 1980. Armed with twelve games, better graphics and sound than its competitors, and the promise to release a compatible keyboard that would turn the system into a home computer ("Play games and balance your checkbook!"), Mattel set its sights on taking down the "invincible" Atari 2600. They got off to a good start, selling out the first production run of 200,000 Intellivision units quickly.

Many people bought an Intellivision with plans to turn it into a home computer when the keyboard was released. There was a huge marketing campaign behind this (one-third of the back of the Intellivision box was dedicated to the "Under Development" keyboard), but months and then years passed without the keyboard being released. actually, it was released in a few test markets in late '81, but the price was too high and the initial reaction poor. So in 1982, Mattel scrapped plans for the infamous keyboard, but later (due to government pressure), they had to make a computer add-on anyway.

I had one of these, sewer sam was awesome :)

Anyone who never utters a word in game chat gets a 0 - which doesn't effect that persons rating. I'm sure many people think a 0 is bad, but a 4 is worse.

Next time say hi to get a 5 that will actually help ;)
