On game 10376611 red has stopped playing with the AA rules. What do we do now?

Good Grief. Im a noob again.

Played two rounds in two other games, then my adjacent game came live and I went all excited and played my turn. Took a neutral territory not losing any units on a two and ended up with a decent unit next to an enemy 1, which I then took as thats what I almost instinctively do normally.

Again, apologies for my noobishness. Its getting so that if I read this as an outside party, Id begin wondering if it was on purpose, but I promise it wasnt. I put it down to time passing till we could get the new game going and being completely new at the adjacent rule. That and general lack of intelligence :(


Ive left the conquered area with 1 on it and Ive suggested ingame that the penalty could be not attacking next round and not attacking green (the offended party) for two rounds. The thing is that I brought greens area count from 15 to 14 which was of course also why the green 1 looked appealing though I dont have any immediate use for it. Still, Green is down one unit that hmm he was either definitely or with good probability going to get his next turn.

So I can do penalty(ies) as the other two players deem fit, but Im not sure how to make that unit up to green.

Let's try to fix any issue in game before we come to Oliver's thread; I bet he's busy enough hehe. If anybody wants to suggest a way to penalize/compensate Tviorr's mistake feel free to leave a message in Game 10418412 chat.

fair enough. I wasnt neccessarily wanting Oliver to come fix it, I just wanted to make sure Id come clean. I find thats usually the best way to go when Ive screwed up ;-). I also figured that Oliver might want to look it over, if nothing else to slap me on the head with something heavy.

Heh. But it seems the consensus is that we are petitioning for a new game. So I guess we would like to prevail upon you for a new game if you grant it. If not Ive abided by the preliminary penalties set. In any case, sorry for the inconvenience.

It will be some days yet because some games habe needed to be restarted due to newbie mistakes. However I think that everybody has learned now and next rounds will have far less mistakes.

So how do the points work? I've lost a 2-player and a 3 player game (I didn't even know 3-player games were in this tourney). But the score sheet says I'm in 57th place with either 2 or 3 points depending on which column you look at.

You get points depending on your position in the game:

2 Players
1st --- 5 points
2nd --- 0 points

4 Players
1st --- 10 points
2nd --- 5 points
3rd --- 2 points
4th --- 0 points

8 Players
1st --- 15 points
2nd --- 10 points
3rd --- 7 points
4th --- 5 points
5th --- 3 points
6th --- 2 points
7th --- 1 point
8th --- 0 points

The score table says you have scores 0 points 1 time (probably you have finished your game before last update). It also says you have 2 points at the moment, that you can still score a maximum of 85 during that phase (rounds 1 to 11) and that you are 3 points below the last classified player. The last number says you can score up to 175 points for the whole tournament.

hey oliver
just wondering about the scoring of 3 player games. is it the same as a 4 player game?

i won the 3 player game that i was in and i still ended up with less overall points then the second placed player, although we both started with 2 points each going into the second game.

wondering why that is.

Hello! That game wasn't updated yet. I am updating it right now so by the time you read this probably the right score will be online.

However, remember that this game has some points adjustments. That's why scores are a bit different (but you have 10, don'w worry ;-) )

Answering your question, 3 player games are scored like 4 player games, and the player not taking part in the game is the one in the 4th position.
