Congrats so far, DiM. Of your recent burst back into the Foundry, I can say that I am really digging your new maps, way more than your older ones (but I know they've certainly got a large number of fans too!).

thanks andy, keep in mind in 2007 when i came i had no idea how to use mspaint so my early maps were the work of somebody just learning photoshop.
since then a few years passed and even though i did not make other maps, i did keep on photoshopping

oh just to make sure, any 2 villages +1 means that for EACH 2 villages you get +1, right?
so when i have 4, i'll get 2?

also, what about having a no region bonus applied to this map, it would make sense with the theme and i think it will fit the gameplay as well.
i'm done writing the continent part of the XML btw. but will do the territories later. i'll pm it to you if you want to take a quick look

leave the standard region bonus 1 for 3 terits. there aren't really that many bonuses on the map.
plus the numbers are right:
17 terits for 2-3players
13 for 4 players
10 for 5
8 for 6
7 for 7
6 for 8
so it's not like the guy going first has a huge advantage and can break the guy going second.
and you don't have to send me the file. i trust your work

those terits are to be given to players randomly. don't make them neutral.
it's not such a big area like like in dustbowl to screw you up if you get all terits in there and it makes the military base more accessible.

when i have time i'll tweak around a bit with the large map, some territories need to be moved a few pixels up, down, left or right.
the small map seems good.
tho i noticed that "Ketro" and "Liria" have a problem with 888's
and mutobe on small maybe need to be 1 pixel upwards.
