cool, so other people have been having the issue. I've lost a few speed games, as doesn't update to my turn, just showing 4:16minutes remaining for the opponent to take their go....... Meanwhile, they have gone and I'm running out of time.

Thanks for noticing, I changed some other things too in the script while I was at it. It's line 1526 now :)

"update" text showed a minute ago or so and i installed it, now i don't see BOB anymore though it is checked in the "tray" greasemonkey.... what can i do now?

Exact same thing just happened to me - help!!! I can't live without BOB!!!!

Hmm, I'll investigate tomorrow. In the mean time, could you tell me what version of firefox/greasemonkey you are using?

3.6.25 Firefox, not sure about greasemonkey, but certainly the latest. Resisted upgrading Firefox because of previous problems.

Thanks for the update. However new version's snapshot in chat is different. In 5.1.6, clicking the button posted a "note to self" in chat with the snapshot link. In 5.1.7, clicking the button pastes the "snap::" URL in the chat but doesn't post or check the note to self box. Is this by design?

Also, I'm curious if I do not remember to click "note to self" in a fog game, does that mean the snapshot reveals my positions to all? That wouldn't be good...

BOB update disappeared on me too. I was able to find the previous version here

http://userscripts.org/scripts/versions/52341

and it works.. but the flashing update sign will drive me batty.

I just updated Firefox and Greasemonkey, and rebooted - and I have BOB back! None of my GM add-ons showed up right away; when I switched over to the forums, all my GM add-ons suddenly appeared. I am currently using Firefox 9.0.1 and Greasemonkey 0.9.13

Mmm didn't know it was a bob thing, I'm so used to playing with bob I guess. Thought it was a normal site feature. Anyways all better with the bob fix. thanks for the replies

I'm also having an error with the new updated bob. If i click the "take snapshot in chat" button it takes a snap and posts it in chat but i need to hit enter to have the snap actually post.

Also in one v one games it is showing up with the note to self box always checked by default

I've never had BOB work with the clicky maps from the site. Is it supposed to?

I updated and could not snap at all. Am not able to look at a snap or take a snap. I reverted back to the last version and it is working fine now

Ok, it looks like I was a little too fast with releasing that version. Made 2 adjustments which should solve some things, but I'm not sure what causes the need to hit enter when taking a snapshot, so that one isn't fixed yet

I had problems too, got the latest version (Dec 25, 2011 09:33) from userscripts.org and it's working again.

Thanks a lot sherk for maintianing this tool!

This really should have been in either the Tools Suggestions & Bugs forum, or attached to the ongoing BOB topic. I am going to merge this with the latter.

hi sherkaner...any ETA on when snapshots will be fixed? wouldn't normally bug you but my clanmates are bugging me as their resident techie :lol:

So.... screenshots... when... I'm stuck without them... taking them and clicking POST is easy, not a problem.... but loading them from chat.... they doesn't work.... :-( fix it please :sick:
