Should I...?

Post by freezie »

I am thinking of modding a final Harry Potter game ( yes, yes..I know...) but considering my huge mistake in my previous game  I may be very well be hindering the whole site instead of helping ( NO exageration whatsoever )..

Anyway..what you guys think? Should I change the theme, should I dare not mod a game ever again, should I have my setup checked first?

I dunno anymore..:(

Definitely feel free to mod again, but especially if you're not feeling sure about the whole balance of the game, get someone to go over the game - that should most likely prevent any huge problems from occurring.
But... It was so artistically done.

Of course you should, freezie! Mistakes happen. I don't see why that's any reason to quit modding altogether :)

Agreed. If you prefer to be safer as well why not get a co-mod to help double check you as well?

Now that ought to have been interesting.

"why do we fall off the horse?"

Mod again. This type of thing happens. It's happened to experienced mods too. Mod again and if you have to just double check before you send out role PMs.

I don't know much about the Potter series, but should you mod a game, freezie, count me in.

Well..I am currently working on the setup..and trying to work it so it's not needed to know anything about the books/movies, there is however major stuff I can't leave..

And seriously, if you haven't read Harry Potter, you need to crawl out of the hole you've been living in and pick up the series.

I'm excited to play in this one freezie.

They were to bad for me to even finish. Anyhow, as for modding, just do it. You wouldn't believe the
number of times I've sent the wrong roles or posted something where I shouldn't have and had to fix things.

I think edocsil hitting the nail right on it's head there

I will give you this, though - it's still 1000000000000000000000000000000x better than Twilight ;)
