This is a Tournament Players Association Year 2(TPA2) event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments. All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You need do nothing more than join one or more of the TPA2 events that will be announced each Monday. Welcome to the King of the Map - Classic [TPA2] Tournament!
This will be a 64 player, 1v1 tournament.
Because this is a TPA event, I'll need to run a "Loser's Bracket" after the first round.
Using random.org, I'll place all 64 players into a bracket. Winners move on, and continue as usual. They will be known as the "Winner's Bracket". The 32 losers will then be re-entered into the "Loser's Bracket", which will progress at the same time as the "Winner's Bracket". The purpose of this is for TPA scoring.
This is a freemium friendly event. All rounds will be best-of-5. You'll receive 3 games to start with. If there is a split, the next 2 games will be made and sent out to decide the winner. Because of this, freemium players need to keep 3 slots open for the duration of the tourney.
