Terminate Australia
This will be a terminator tournament featuring 16 players playing 4 player games against one another over a choice of 7 maps all to feature Australia.
Tournament Details
Maps to be used: Australia, Cairns Coral Coast, Cairns Metro, Oceania, Rail Australia, Sydney Metro, WWII Australia
The settings used for all games will be: Terminator, Automatic, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Sunny, No round limit, Casual
7 games will be played at any one time so premium membership is a requirement.
Players will be invited to games. If you decline 2 invites or they expire in a row (ie 48 hours) I will replace you. If you need time for whatever reason please pm and I will accommodate you.
This tournament will likely fall around the Christmas/New Years time. No games will commence those weekends. And if logical to delay until after New Years I may do so with the input of remaining participants. No promises though.
Round 1
16 players will be randomly placed into 4 groups of 4.
They will then play 1 game on each of the 7 maps.
Players will be awarded 3 points for winning the game, 1 point for finishing 2nd or 3rd. 0 Points for finishing last.
Points will be added up and then the players ranked overall out of 16.
Round 2
With the rankings from the first round the 16 players will then be seeded into 4 groups of 4 as shown below
They will then play 1 game on each of the 7 maps.
Players will be awarded 3 points for winning the game, 1 point for finishing 2nd or 3rd. 0 Points for finishing last.
Points will be added up and then the players ranked in their group of 4. (no points carry over from previous round)
The bottom player in each group will be eliminated.
Round 3
12 Players will then be ranked by their total points for the tournament and re-seeded into 3 groups of 4 as shown below
They will then play 1 game on each of the 7 maps.
Players will be awarded 3 points for winning the game, 1 point for finishing 2nd or 3rd. 0 Points for finishing last.
Points will be added up and then the players ranked in their group of 4. (No points carry over from previous round)
The bottom player in each group will be eliminated. As well as the player with the next least number of points
Round 4
Players will then be ranked by their total points for the tournament and re-seeded into 2 groups of 4 as shown below
They will then play 1 game on each of the 7 maps.
Players will be awarded 3 points for winning the game, 1 point for finishing 2nd or 3rd. 0 Points for finishing last.
Points will be added up and then the players ranked in their group of 4. (No points carry over from previous round)
The bottom player in each group will be eliminated. As well as the next 2 players with the least number of points.
Final Round
The final 4 players will then play 1 game on each of the 7 maps.
Players will be awarded 3 points for winning the game, 1 point for finishing 2nd or 3rd. 0 Points for finishing last.
The person with the most points from this round wins the tournament. This person will also win a 3 month premium prize.
The person with the most overall kills for the entire tournament will also win a 3 month premium prize (Please note: you cannot win both premium prizes. If the winner has the most kills then the person with the second most will win the premium)
Tiebreakers
Any ties in regards to seeding and eliminations will be decided by:
Total points for tournament
Total kills for tournament
Total number of rounds alive for in tournament
