Map humour (what better audience than here?)

Post by ender516 »

I read this strip regularly, and always enjoy it, but this one called out to be shared here.

I immediately thought of the foundry when I saw this...

Btw, the Waterman Butterfly would make a kick ass map. Quick, someone come up with a justification for yet another world map on CC...

I forget which contest it was, but I tried to use the Pierce Quincuncial rotated 45 degrees clockwise. It leaves a nice space at the top for a title, and two spaces at the bottom left and right for legends. However, there just wasn't enough room in Europe for all the territories that were needed.

Hehe, nice find. It would be interesting to see a map come out of one of the less boxy formats!

You don't care what shape the world is in, as long as it is divided evenly?

Someone should make a banana-shaped map of the World.

**Munches on a map-shaped banana**
