Re: Random Speed Festival - 2 Nov to 9 Nov
DJ,
How many players did there end up being? I just played HA who's not on the 1st page list, so I assume that it's not up to date.

If you continue to play the same opponent, any games after your first two wins will not count on your statistics (but may count on your opponent's if they dont have two wins against you).
Does this rule work on joining. To me if you have beaten someone twice and do not join against them --if they join you it should not count as a game at all.
If I put up a game and someone joins me that I have beaten twice that is not fair to me.
I am very aware of who I have played and won twice against and am aware of who beat me twice. Out of respect I would not join a player that beat me twice as that is not fair to that player, but it will happen.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.

You did not play me--you beat the crap out of me--let's be clear about things

LOL. Thanks for the credit, but you know there's some luck involved when you get ahead of some that quick.
But good point on the joining thing. I completely agree. DJ, might I suggest that if this happens, we just report it to you and you make it so that that game receives no consideration for either player in the final tabulation?

The rule still aplies if they join your games. Whoever joins last, it doesn't count towards the stats oif the player that has won twice (in any case, there is no way of confirming who joined second).

Oh yeah - I'm getting confused with a different problem where invites are sent and it is impossible to know who joined second.
Anyway, red, green or purple with orange spots, if you've already won twice then the game doesn't count on your own stats (but will against your opponents if they haven't beaten you twice).

But you can't send invites for these games, so it would be the green player.

Re: Random Speed Festival - 2 Nov to 9 Nov
seems this tourney is over
not enough players even to play to get a good winning percentage with that 2 win rule--a thought for next time--I think this format is better for a 2 or 3 day weekend then for a week
just suggestions
I did enjoy playing in it
thanks for hosting
