Luck
Alright all in my hour of need I'm turning to you. Ive somehow pissed off the gods of CC and they are retaliating by taking my points. I've seen the worst luck latley that I believe imaginable. Enemies wining miracle odds to cash in an escalting set to win the game, people drawing 3 card 40 man sets on me. People killing me in odds where its 16-19 (I got the 19) and wining with only losing 2-3 men. I need a voodo cure or at least something that will stop me from sliting my wrists....anyone got any suggestions?

Who hasn't been there! I lost two RT games because I couldn't get a set of cards (which would have won me the game), until the 5th card. It happens mate!

I have the worst luck on this site. I continually get owned by smaller forces so I must always make sure I outnumber my opponent 5 to 1 before I do any kind of major attacks. In the last week, I have continually had to spend 5 or more armies attacking 1 just so I could get a card. Sure enough they are all red cards
Eventually the luck will turn around and when it does you had all be very, very afraid.

There is no luck, only preparation and execution.

Same here, but I get 2 red, 2 blue, then I pray for a green. Of course I get red cards.
Epic Win

I was recently a few points below captain when - karma hitting me and my team mate like a sledge hammer - I suddenly woke up in a dilapidated CC back alley with only 2 stripes on my arm. From there on our dice were just appaling - there seemed to be no end to the atrocities we had to suffer in battles where our careful scheming and shrewd deployments meant nothing when facing the lumbering happy go lucky hordes of Demon Spawned Bastards With Golden Dice.
And just as suddenly the Great Depression has now lifted! Our devious plots come to fruition anew, again we strike fear into the hearts of our enemy who flee before the bayonets of our advancing troops. We live in Glorious Times For Battle, I mean, like - I'm talking World Domination, moaahahahaha! moahahahahaha!
Ahem.... sorry 'bout that.
Seriously, though, what I mean is: all you need is nitrous oxide.

Even with my recent RT losses mounting I still feel like the laws of statistics still apply. I am just finding the freak viens of poor dice, like in todays RT where I lost 6 men trying to take 2. Not a problem I had 10 men right next to that area who could still come over and win me the game! But wait, I lost 8 more men on those two and then couldn't finish him to win his cards and in turn the game.
I did kill 12 men on defense of a territory that meant nothing to me!!!
Those are the breaks!

Romania-i tara mea, si buna si rea
O iubesc, ma mandresc ca m-am nascut in ea,
Romania-i tara mea, si buna si rea
Strainii ne-au ars pana acum, dar si noi ii vom turna!
What is this? Poetry, song lyrics, an anthem?
I haven't found a good Romanian to English online translator so could you tell me what it means in English?
"Romania is my land..."
Just curious, thanks.
Cheers,

But voodoo won't cut it, mate. As I said in my previous post, hidden in between my megalomaniac ranting, all you need is nitrous oxide. It won't improve your dice, but it will make losing more enjoyable. Put your faith in western medicine, son.
