This is mainly a precaution. This tournament is not inactive, however there are problems. DJENRE has been incommunicado for eight days now. I have tournament privileges and I can keep it going, but I have now started making decisions which DJENRE should have been making (ie. replacing disqualified players.) For now there is no crisis and I fully expect that DJENRE will at some point return. Mainly as a precaution, I have decided to report it here in case he never does and I eventually have to take over the tournament completely.

It appears that the TO has not been online since before April 14th, 2011. I still have a PM in my outbox with that date and it has not been picked up. He also deadbeated out of all of his games at that time.

Both tournaments were finished the round, or half round (in Island Champion). They were well run and taken care of, but Giliipig has not been online since. I hope all is well with him, as he is listed as 25 years old and a student.

Last forum post by DJENRE was April 23rd. I think I got a PM on April 24th, but I can't find that anymore (not that one day would be a significant difference.)

I think the time has come to formally request that DJENRE be removed as Tournament Organiser. I've been reluctant to make this request, because the guy did a lot of work getting this tourney underway and I didn't want to see him lose his TO's medal for it, but at this point I'm running out of excuses for him. Even if he had his power and phone lines cut off and had no money to reconnect them, by now he could have dragged himself to a public library to get online.

I would also like the TD's formal endorsement to remove him from the tournament as a player. His turn-sitters have been very faithful to him and reliable at keeping him from missing turns in games, but I think it isn't right to keep doing that forever.

I removed DJENRE as a Tournament Organizer.

Please remove him as a player as well. Nobody should account sit for another player for more than one month.

Whoever is taking turns and joining new tournament games for DJENRE: Please stop doing that from now on (you are allowed to finish the ongoing tournament games).

Comments: there have been no updates fora while so I posted a question in the thread on 14th October asking if there were any updates. I got no response so I sent a pm to the TO.

Unfortunately I've given up on it . I've promised myself to never start another tournament and I've got a 1 year ban coming up soon. Sometimes I'm on this site several times a day, then I leave for a week, a month or half year. So I'm not very well suited to organize tournaments.

Edit: I don't mind rescuing this tournament myself at this point
