The Ultimate Secret Public Oxymoron Doubles (FINISHED)

This will be a double elimination doubles team bracketed tournament. Any team that loses 2 games is eliminated.

[spoiler=Illustration]Each team plays one game per round. Double elimination, double bracket illustrated below. Lose 2 games and you're out. For each game in each round I will flip a coin (using Random.org) to select which team's map will be used for that game.

Double elimination...

All winners remain in the winners' bracket and advance to the next round. All losers drop to the losers bracket. All teams that lose one game in the losers bracket are eliminated. The winners will have no more than one loss.

In the event of a tie, the losers are required to serenade the winners by twilight after taking them out to a swank restaurant for dinner. If a swank restaurant cannot be agreed upon, a less-than-swank restaurant may be acceptable.

Map Selection: A random map will be chosen for each game based on the choices of the two teams.

ADVANCED RULES:
You must sign up as a team! BOTH members MUST sign in here. No singles looking for love.

You must choose a team name and that name must be a blend of the two players' names or in some way combine the essence of the two team members. i.e. macbone + lt. Futt = "lt. bone" or "macfutt" or "Norwegian BBQ" or "Norse gai pan" - combining names or country of residence . The more ridiculous the better.

You must choose a map that fits the rules above. I will be the final decider, any team submitting a rejected map will have the opportunity to pick another, you may submit a numbered list of choices; your first qualifying map will be used.

Any team that does not comply with the advanced rules will be disqualified from participating.

My current favourite map is Northwest Passage, but risky will probably call that a complicated bonus structure, and ditto for my second favourite map, Middle Ages. Sigh. Ye of limited imagination..
