Angola's 42s Tournament II (lisbon101 wins!)

The 42s Escalating Tournament

The Classic map has 42 territories and there are 19 other maps with 42 territories that I loosely like.

This tournament will feature 64 players making up eight groups of eight.

You will play an eight-man escalating game on each of the 20 maps featuring 42 territories.

Scoring will be 12 points to the winner, 7 points to second place (the last eliminated), 6 points to third place and so on.

The top four scorers in each group will advance, where you will play all 20 maps again in each of the four rounds.

Any ties will be determined by who won the most games between those tied, the most second places, the most third places, the most fourth places, the most fifth places, the most sixth places, the most seventh places, the most eighth places.

If we are still tied, there will be game on Classic with the standard settings to decide who moves on.

As an aside, you will play 20 games at once each round.

If a game becomes deadlocked, I will create a new game with same settings on Classic to help move the tournament along. The winner of this game does not automatically win the deadlocked game, unless all players in that game come to an agreement.
