Is he really???
No, that's not why I like them. I just remember seeing one of their matches a couple of years ago and they had a really good African American player in their team (I think he was anyway), with dreadlocks and he was awesome. I'll try and find out who he was and post back here.
EDIT: I found it, it's Cobi Jones I was talking about but he's looking a bit old since I first saw him

Ok guys. I am a sports fanatic and follow
Soccer, Rugby, Golf even cricket and american football.
However my favourite sport is a game called "Hurling" which is unique to Ireland and is the fastest game in the world, although I think LeCrosse is close.
It is a fantastic game played only by amateurs.
15 a side on a pitch 120 yards long.
Each player has a stick called a hurl and uses this stick to hit a ball called a sliotar. Each player is man marked in a 1 3 3 2 3 3 formation.
The goals at either end are similar to rugby but with a net below the crossbar similar to soccer. So each team has a goalie.
The object of the game is to get the ball past the goalkeeper for a goal
or over the crossbar for a point, a goal = 3points.
It is played at a phenomenal speed and can see scores from up to 100 yards out.
It really is worth watching if you ever get a chance.
