I think you should remake the poll with the top 3 options being the only options. Or just start calling it World 0.5. I'd be cool with that too. :D

Good concept for a quickie

I notice in your post Thu Apr 05, 2007 9:41 pm, that you actually got that place that everyone is calling West NZ - you got its name correct.

What happened between then and Draft 6?

Did you suddenly feel the Austrians from Europe would enjoy a climate change? or had they invaded before the game even starts.

Please, if you get the names of every other territory correct, then at least give us this courtesy.... :D

A concerned resident.

I appreciate your concern for my geographic sanity. However, as I have yet to hear any complaints from the Scandinavians, Southeast Asians, residents of any African country with a proper name, Americans, Soviets, East Indians, Washingtonians, or whoever Andy is, you may understand my reluctance to return your land to its un-childified name. If, however, you all reach a consensus on this change, I may be willing to reverse it.

Yeah, it's probably been enough time now. I think I'll post the new poll with the top three here, and then some of the ones EvilOtto suggested earlier that I like. Also if anyone else any other brilliant ideas, post away.

Thanks, KEYOGI. The new poll is up. The top answer or two here will go head-to-head (possibly head-to-head-to-head) with World 0.5 in the next poll.

And now for something completely different: Draft 7

Nice update, bonuses are easy to find now ( even for a slowpoke like me  )

I like the concept of the crayons strewn out there, a nice addition to the background.

Maybe have the map on a sheet and the borders of the background beeing a table or something? Would add something as it stays kinda empty. Or maybe a scrapbook concept ( I know young students use those in their first years here...) Anyway, your map :P.

EDIT: Actually..I don't think there would be enough space..so nvm it. Sorry.

Continue on it, I would love to see it beeing playable one day.

I would also like to rename Austria, Australia. OR if you want to add the childish theme you could do something like this
Austria
^al^
You get the idea: write "al" and draw a little arrow.
That would be cool, cause kids can misspell easily and they often do that.

One last question: Why is there a Soviet Union?

I can't wait when this map is out so i can play a 6 player terminator game on this. 3 territories each!!

I couldn't really think of anything childish to call the Ukraine, so I figure a country that doesn't exist anymore is as close as I'd get.

The crayons are a little distracting. Maybe change those or not have them at all?

It's a little late, but Draft 8 can't wait. It's fate. Bait.

Give the little kid a break, he can't be brilliant all the time. I'm sure Evil DIMwit will torture better names out of him soon enough.

Looking good!

Like the ruled paper look, however the red margin does need to be perpendicular to the blue writing lines.

It is perpendicular. Measure it yourself.

Austria instead of Australia? Soviet Union instead of European Russia? Iceland instead of Scandinavia. Those need to be reversed for sure.
