Don't those maps tend to get stale or never ending games? At least given the settings? Maybe I am missing something?

Not in my experience. With escalating settings I have chosen, I have seen those maps end up finishing quickly. If it were flat rate, or no spoils, and ulimited or adjacent then I would agree. With games of escalating, I see them ending in less than 20 rounds over 90% of the time.

I am in but I think those will go stale. If they go stale after round 1 will there be a change for round 2 3 4?
