more like a starbucks on every street.

what if it wasnt just starbucks but all the local companies, or companies that originated here, and if you have all of them then you get bonuses.

Being born & raised in the Seattle are, I like it!

There are a lot of options here. You could include Bellevue, Mercer Island, the San Juan Islands (Orcas, Whidby, etc). Even the mountain ranges (Cascades, Olympics). You could have a "downtown" area with a bonus. You could have the seven Seattle hills as territories (Queen Anne Hill, Beacon Hill, Capitol, Magnolia, etc).

The more I think about it, the cooler it gets! Run with it!

Starbucks

Post by hobs09 »

I like the starbucks idea, but i think all the companies would be excessive.

Thanks for the map and the ideas.

bridges

Post by hobs09 »

Ive been thinking about making all the bridges territories, so to attack another continent you would have to first attack the bridge, which wouldn't be part of any continent. What do you think.

While I dislike the idea of a map of Seattle, if it's going to go ahead I think the bridges is an excellent idea. Controlling a bridge(s) would have significant strategic value.

Aye it's amusing to say the least.

However, the territories don't vary enough from Classic for my liking

Ohio map - UPDATE PG. 3 v4

Post by patt »

Well this is my first map.

I went and found a map of Ohio, divided it into regions, and colored it. I'm not sure what to do now. There are a total of 88 territories, and 8 regions. This might make a good 4 vs. 4 game, if that passes.

If someone could help me that would be great. I've only counted the number of territories in each region. I'm not sure how many bonus armies should be given out for each region. any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

i think its far to big :\ even for a large map. if u want a large number of countrys you'll need to compress it right down, like world 2.1.Saying that the playablility would be gd, a few barriers and rivers could make this an exciting map. I look forward to it and ill help in any way i can =)

Or a double bonus for Licking + Carroll.

Negative bonus for Licking + Brown.
