Game 9335360

In the game above wendall2000 missed all of his turns and was kicked. I wanted to ask for this tournament game not to count since it was unfairly played out due to wendal missing his turns. I await your decision, thank you.

Players will be ranked according to win percentage and number of opponents defeated.

I wanted to get some clarity on this point. So is the win percentage the first determining factor when ranking players? How do the points come in?

If player A has 3 wins out of 5 games player (60%) for 8 points total is he ranked higher then player b who has 9 wins out of 18 games plalyed (50%) for 16 points? Are the points simply about a tiebreaker or do they play a more important roll?

Sorry, it was unclear, so I have re-written as follows:

Players will be ranked by win points percentage.

This is calculated as follows:
    A win in 1 v 1 games counts for 2 win points.
A win in 3-player games counts for 3 win points.
(This reflects the real probabilities of winning different game types.)
Each players win points are added up and divided by the number of games played to give a win points percentage.

Sorry, we had a chat amongst ourselves about this and decided that it would have been a good rule to instate but that it is too late to do so mid-tournament.

So, the result stands, but we will add a rule next tournament to ensure it doesn't happen again.

Okay that makes more sense. Can you give an example to show how it works. Say I have 4 wins out of 6 games for 10 points. Is it 10 points / 6 games?

I just need to play one more game and hopefully 8 points/4 games for 200% is enough to go through ;)

Down from five to four games my opinion is this:

wow--dont like that rule change at all--if they wanted to advance they could play five games easy--u put one vs one==they are just not making the effort

I sent this pm to DJ
