Streaker seems to have disappeared from CC. It's been over a week since his last login, and no one's heard from him. For this reason, denthefrog and I have been taking his turns in the 2 Feudal Epic games. Just wanted to explain the situation, in case anyone wondered why sitters were taking turns without the clock running low.

I think somebody told Deli about a week ago and Deli told me, so we're already good. I hope Streaker's okay.

I'm eating his tenderloin right now. Don't worry, I have plenty of space left on my barbecue for more cows.

Seriously, I hope he's ok and maybe just taking a break.

Not too long ago, Streaker has been a very active participant in the mafia community, but around 2 weeks he suddenly pretty much stopped. I've talked with him a bit afterwards and from what I understand, he had some real life problems that were needed to deal with. I will say that I do honestly hope that he'll be fine - he's been a great addition to the site.
But... It was so artistically done.

Things are starting off very close for both clans. 3 vs 2 right now. I took a look through all of the other games, and they all look to be undecided at the moment. I wonder if the war will be this tight all the way through.

word to your mother.

WTH!!!

Um... okay.

Yeah, it is too bad how streaker just disappeared. He used the be a very active member. Hope all is well with him.

Is the score really still 3-3? That was the score last week. This war is sure getting off to a slow start, unless it needs to be updated.
Bruceswar: I have big news coming out soonish
Violet: oh, what big news?
Bruceswar: I am leaving KORT to go to RA

Well when every turn by one team takes 24 hours, games are going to move more slowly. I predict this war will end in September.

hmm, how do you then explain the fact that in this challenge 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th and 7th game was ended before in any other quartefinal challlenge? and here batch 1 was mostly quads, what is not the case in every quartefinal challenge, so here is expected that batch 1 games will last longer because of that. and I think that batch 1 started in the same time like in other challenges with exception of EMPIRE-TOFU challenge.

The slowest quarter finals so far is THOTA vs AOC, but we exchanged all quads in batch 1. We will catch you guys in the end 8-)

Both TOFU and EMPIRE take near the 24 hours each turn. Some of us like to think three and four turns ahead and plan accordingly. ;)

I like to give myself time to change my mind at least 3 times. I like to try each possibility on for size, consider how each will entice the moves of whoever I am "playing" with, see if I have shoes to match, consider the weather, etc.

Men and women think so differently about these sorts of things...

After your admission of being, uhm, let's just say quick to finish your turn, I wouldn't be waiting around for Denise's phone call.

we play it like a race. if they dont come when we come, they come when we come back.!!

Everythings Legit, I dont have to waste a whole case of Cris
All it takes is my pretty face and my gangsta wit

============================
about the slow play topic. I find it rather silly myself. The need for strategy on CC has deteriorated to such a degree since the dice change, that dice streaks dominate every game in terms of one opponent gaining the advantage over the other.

Used to be, going first, drop, strategy were the significant factors. Now, it is all about the dice. Those three combined MAYBE equal the effect that dice streaks have imo.

Honestly, how many times have you guys gotten together and spend a significant amount of time devising the perfect plan (and it is perfect), only to see it go tits up when the first 10 stack cant remove a 2 (or something similarly frustrating), or watch someones 50 stack kill your 75 with 25 leftover. many ,many times i am guessing.

It's not a matter of slow play for us. It's more about discussing a plan and getting everyone's feedback. Most of us these days aren't on often, so it usually takes up to 12 hours to hear back, then we move forward. If it took 8 hours for the first person to look and leave chat, and another 12 to hear back, the clock gets low. Other times we are on at the same time and we take the turn with 23 1/2 hours left. All depends on the situation. We do NOT let the clock run low for the hell of it.
