Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
I'd like a long and detailed post from 40k explaining the following:
1. His role in depth
2. His reads (who he thinks is scum and why)
3. His opinions specifically on Tail, why they exist, etc.
Please make up for all the one liners. Thank you.

Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
Well it's obvious he's investigative of some sort. He claimed to know who I was, so unless he was bluffing with that statement, then he investigated me because he thought I was scum, which fits because he kept voting for me. I didn't talk to him during the night time, so he managed so get role-related info unbeknownst to me.
Honestly, I think 40k is too amateur to bluff a cop role and claim that he knew who I was. You'd have to have all your bases covered to pull a stunt like that.

Or is that just what he wants us to think?
Seriously though, anything is possible. He's refused to scumhunt at all the entire game, so I'd still like some answers from him. If he posts another one-line post, he has my vote. One line posts don't help town, and a mislynch on him wouldn't make me feel all that bad because he isn't helpful and is serving as a distraction right now more than anything else.

Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
Well that's the problem though with every day that goes by a mislynch costs the town more and more to the extent that a mislynch today may not end the game for town but the wrong lynch does put us in a positon where tomorrow we may be at lylo. Long story short we are getting to the point where we should really be paying close attention to whom we lynch. I probably would have been ok with lynching him day 1 or 2 but today we at the very least need to be more careful.

3. At the momment i have no opinions on tail. I had some last night, do you want me talk about them?

Sure.
Also, that post read like noobtown to me.
I'm going to post my read on every alive player in a minute or two. Just have to pull up my notes.
Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
Commander9 (Chef - leaning town)
TA1LGUNN3R (Officer Barbrady, insane cop - probably town)
/ (null read)
strike wolf (seems town)
evilchaos (town)
chapcrap (Kenny - town, confirmed by soup)
kratos644 (unknown role, scum due to lack of activity/lurking while being active in other threads)
lalaland (possible scum, voted one name-investigating cop and FOSd the insane cop)
Talapus (null read)
40kguy (Stan - town)
Can others take the list of names as I did in put down their reads? Thanks.

Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
Since we don't have really good targets, I would like to pressure lalaland due to her behaviour (reasoning is in my earlier post). Unvote. Vote lalaland.
Also, please prod the inactives.

But... It was so artistically done.
Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
Eh - lala is as good a pressure target as any. The fact that she voted/FOSd two cops with believable claims makes her likely scum.

He's at l-3 I will hold off voting until he has provided some form of defense and I am still getting bigger scum vibes from kratos than lala.

Vote Count (Sorry that it's been so long)
40kguy (1) - lalaland
lalaland (3) - Commander9, evilchaos, 40kguy (L-3)
With 10 alive, it takes 6 votes to lynch.
Also Commander, who do you consider to be inactive?

Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
Sorry I haven't really seen anything scummy. Lala is acting a tad scummy with those fosing but that is quite recent. I have to go teach at VBS so let me do that then tonight I'll reread the past 15 or so pages and see if I find anything interesting.

Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
The terrible soup is really getting to me. It may just be the end of Kenny (OMG, you killed Kenny! You bastards!).
Wouldn't argue with that. With me being voteless, you really need 6 of 9 people to vote for someone. Just as previously stated, kratos gets FoS'ed and pointed out as a lurker and he immediately responds. I can see cases for both. Wish my voting powers hadn't been sapped my this soup.

I happened to be on when I read it. Just because someone isn't posting doesn't make them mafia. There are many other motives for not drawing attention then being mafia. Anyway I just got home I'm going to eat then I'll read up on things

Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
I FOSed the two because
a) without all of the details on 40k's role, it looks really suspicious to have two people all of a sudden claiming both to have coplike roles.
b) 40k has continually made suspicious posts in this game, although i understand that can be chalked up to n00bishness.
c) we found out that one of the core4 was anti-town, there's no reason that others couldn't be town as well
d) also to remember, it's possible that 40k could have a mafia powerrole that allows him to know names - in terms of game mechanics and setup, I've definitely played games with an investigative role on each side, especially if this is a game with third parties (like lynchers etc).
I just meant to keep these options open and jumpstart some conversation for this new day by brining up these points.

Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
I think we should take a look at inactives though, or at least prod them to give their take on things so far. Sometimes a fresh set of eyes on things can do wonders.
Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
Well, that was a rather quick reaction for entertaining a possibility, I'm not completely sure what to believe since we have still received no indication on what the setup could be about, Given Barbrady's character, I would tend to agree with suspicion his results, however from the show I'm not sure he would be "insane" either, I mean has he ever actually suspected anyone of doing anything throughout the show?
I would think his behavior trends more toward the "naive" flavor, but that is obviously not the case given his result. Stan would almost certainly be town, but I seem to recall an episode with an evil alternate universe clone too, it would be quite the mind screw if the setup involved such a concept, eh, never mind, blind shots in the dark are unnecessary at this point.
I tend to lean towards Comm as the most suspect because of the known flavor with the soup, but kratos and lala seem like good possible leads too, I will need to reread on all three and possibly more on Monday, I seem to be too tired to think straight at this point, my apologies.

Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
Right now our biggest concern should be the soup. With so few of us in the game and it making people voteless, odds are good town will lose their majority share of votes for a lynch at this rate. Not terrible yet, but in another day or two it will cost us everything.

Re: South Park Mafia [Day 3]
The soup is a big concern but honestly I don't know who we should look at as far as distributing it because unless everyone decides it must be chef we don't even really have a good idea who may be distributing it. This would basically mean we are just about as likely to hit the person making it by aiming at who we find the most suspicious as we would by wasting another good portion of a day trying to decide who might be distributing it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't soup just for the day?

I don't think we know cuz safari's dead, unless you know other things about the soup that the rest of us don't?

It's never been verified either way and the fact that we don't know is concerning.

Well, I know that the soup is killing me (figuratively). I guess we'll find out if I an NKed tonight. Of course that could also be a scum plot to frame Chef/lead us in the wrong direction. Interesting aspect. Hope I survive...for once.
