Has it ever been considered to install some program that allows players to filter opponents based on ratings.
1) It would allow those who care to avoid games with poor sports often found in the low 4s
2) It would give the player feedback some real purpose.
just a thought...I hate getting trapped in games with poor sports.

Re: A way to weed out poor sports
Wow, if we implemented this I don't think someone with a rating below 4 would ever get to join a game that someone else started. I can't imagine people wouldn't take advantage of this.
This has previously been suggested (for example, viewtopic.php?f=471&t=70927) but seems to not have gotten much support at the time. Perhaps you should create a suggestion in the Suggestions forum and see what people think.

I believe you can arrange players by rating via the scoreboard. Then foe them 1 by 1.
Have fun!

usually I just foe them after I endure them...that seems to work well enough I suppose. Been so long, I forgot about the foe option

6500+ games played, 3.0 rating? ...wow.

Hey, come on. Give the man a break. It's a 3.1 rating. Not just some 3.0

That is mainly a result from his earlier CC life. He has improved and quite frankly people giving him 1 stars for fair play and game play instead of just attitude because they didn't like his attitude is abuse...
