As far as I know, it was originally called "World 2", and the original mapmaker made some minor changes after it first went live, and it got renamed to maintain versioning.
Thanks. Kinda what I always assumed but since no other maps followed that logic, it made wonder.
taking a break from cc, will be back sometime in the future.
AFRICA AND EUROPE ARE TERRIBLY OVERCROWDED HERE. You need to use regional names, such as Maghreb, and neat antiquated names, like the Levant. Don't set it up like the United Nations where every country with a government is represented.
On the plus side, I like the flow of your map.The graphics are appealing. Keep on playing around with your map.

I believe Europe even has a lack of territories in comparison to the bonus it gives. It's practically as big as Australia, has an equal amount of borders but yields 2 armies more. Why do you think it's overcrowded? :s
Game 8588923. This is a fog game so I can't see much of the map, but somehow one of the players (orange) is receiving a bonus of 6 troops for holding a particular region. This is impossible. There are no bonuses of 6 on that map. Am I missing something or is there a glitch?

Central Europe is 3, Scandinavia is 2, all of Europe is 11. It shows up in the bonus list as 3, 2, and 6.
We have a Classic Map, and then we have a World 2.1 map. What happened to 2.0? Is this Doodle Earth? I can't believe anyone could overlook that we went straight to 2.1, skipping 2.0.

I believe it was because there were some major changes, but not enough to make an entirely new map. It started out as 2.0 as you said, and then changed to 2.1 after the updates.

Mongolia is part of the Far East bonus region, is it not? It shows as dark purple on the main map.
However, on the mini map showing bonuses, it just shows white dead zone where Mongolia is, even though it should be shown as purple.
Does anyone think this will ever be fixed?
I do not see any dead space between China and Russia on the mini-map of either the large or small maps. Are you perhaps looking at the circle that has the 4 on it, or the dead zone where the 'Stans are?
No sweat. The first post is supposed to be updated during development, but a little fix like this might have been introduced in beta, or even after quenching, and not made it back to the first post. Perhaps that is why the live map is now World 2.1, while the first post here shows World 2.0.

It was World 2.0 originally...Then some attack routes were changed for playability so it was changed to World 2.1.
