I was unable to log in or access CC about 8 hours ago; the site kept on timing out and bringing up the generic "page is unavailable" holding page. This may have been an issue on my end, although other sites seemed to be working OK.

Game 9065783 - 10 minutes ago from now.

It wasn't completely unavailable, as I could make an in-game action by logging out and logging back in again each time.

Site seems to be at 100% now - after my induced loss, of course.

Absolutely plagued by communication errors this morning. I'm having to copy/paste everything I write in team chat as half the time I get a comm error and lose what I've just written.

Ditto taking turns, comm errors on deploy and attacks

Not just speed games.

More detail:

ONLY actual attacks time out. Dropping troops, and forting (also switching between phases) works fine.
Problem is bypassed by making an attack, going back to My Games page, and re-entering game. Takes a shitload of time however. Not ideal for making large runs. Bombarding at best.

What's up with the servers?

Post by Claudiu »

Are they slow today? I can barely make a move in the game without getting a message saying the connection is closed and asking me if I wanna try again. What's up with that?

Agreed, noticing the exact same thing. Every other section of the site is working fine, purely trying to attack.

Agreed that you have to try to get out to My Games in order for it to work.

There was site-wide lag recorded this morning. This is not a bug, but an example of horrible lag that was found. If you experience any further major lag, please report it here: Official Website Lag Reports

There is also a daily lag in midnight times (of US) in speed games join page, I'm awake most of midnights and usually have the lag for a few hours only when I click on join speed games link, that lag is exactly like the lag that medals page had before, it makes me wait something like 10 to 20 seconds while every other page works fine ...

More mutterings from the general public about slowdowns, particularly during attacks:
viewtopic.php?f=506&t=145829&start=0
Maybe that topic should be merged here.
Was there more work being done regarding dice stats?
