I decided to try my hand at running a tournament after taking advantage of so many other people organizing them in the past. After deliberating with my life-partner, Astrabone6, I have decided to do an Arms Race! doubles, double elimination tournament. Since the Macho Man Randy Savage passed away last week, I will be running this in honor of him and his massive guns (hence, Arms Race). So without further ado, let's snap into a Slim Jim! Ohhhhh yeaaaaaa!
Game Format:
Map: Arms Race!
Game Type: Doubles
Play Order: Sequential
Troop Deployment: Automatic
Spoils: No spoils
Reinforcements: Chained
Fog of War: Sunny
Tournament Format:
Participant number: 16
Double elimination:
1) The first bracket will be seeded at random. Each team will be assigned a number based on the order they joined the tournament and those numbers will be drawn at random out of a hat in order to determine seeding (matchups).
2) The second bracket will be the losers bracket and as teams lose they will fill up the losers bracket in the order they lost. I will provide a copy of the bracket on this page and update it as games are completed.
