Do you need an excuse to have a war? I mean, who for? Can't you just say "You got lots of cash and land, but I've got a big sword, so divy up right now, chop chop."

I liked the joke too. It was one of the best I'd found today. (Maybe the best)

I just hope it didn't push back content development.

This map isn't quenched. It was just an April's fool.

The Final Forge period has concluded for the U.S. Senate Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for live play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!

I know it's quenched. It was a 2nd of April joke.

I wonder why it's taking so long to be put online.

Hey Fitz, it seems the XML is bad link, that is why it's been taking longer. Mind looking into it?

The link worked originally, and died later. Get your facts straight.

LOL, lock the thread so I can't respond, eh?

If that's the case then I apologize. The way I would have imagined it you would have clicked on the link once and gotten the XML, and never needed the link again, but I don't know what goes on in the quenching process.

:) Just locked the thread because it is uneeded, as this is the respective topic for the map. Discussion is better here.

Played a RT, three player game a couple hours ago. Quite fun, but I think the rewards were a little skewed. In the second round, I took the Podium; in the 8th round, I took the game. The lobbies seem a little heavy in their boost, though. Only three territories can attack the lobbies, while five can attack the media holdings. Lobbies may have more territories, but their easier to defend. Giving lobbies a large boost seemed odd.

Still, it's a fun map, and my final romp through the Republican seats after finishing off the Liberal Lobby was simply delightful. And amusing. Despite the strange (and huge) bonuses, I really enjoyed it, and not just because I stomped all over friends. Certainly worth playing again...

...of course, the group I play with probably will add it to the Flick-can't-play list, along with Canada.
