Reservoir Dogs mafia?

Post by Rodion »

Did anyone ever think of it?

Or a mafia game base on one (or all) of Tarantino's movies?

He's my favorite filmmaker. I overpowered mafia a bit in the game, but a game on all his movies was too tempting to pass up.

If you want to try modding a game sometime in the future, I'd be happy to help with setup if you want to do Reservoir Dogs.

Me and ga7 had plans to once: viewtopic.php?f=610&t=94914&p=2315561

Quite a funny thread full of spam and and me ultimately being too drunk off my ass to get anything organised.

I don't feel like modding a game yet, but I'd love to play a Tarantino one. He has so many great characters!

I'd love the ooportunity to play one of the following: Mr. Pink, Mr. Black, Gogo Yubari, Bill, Hans Landa. These 5 are probably my favorite Tarantino characters (considering his 7 movies: Reservoir Dogs, Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill Vol. 1, Kill Bill Vol. 2, Death Proof and Inglorious Basterds). I wish he made more movies. =(

Mr. Black? You mean Mr. White?

I'd go with Jules Winnfield as my number 1 guy. He's one tough hombre.

I meant Mr. Blonde!

List is, in no particular order: Mr. Pink, Mr. Blonde, Gogo Yubari, Bill, Hans Landa

I already got to play jules before...and failed miserably...so I think next on my list would be Lt. Aldo Raine.

Heh, well, governor is a tricky role to play sometimes.

"There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon you." Now... I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, that meant your ass. You'd be dead right now. I never gave much thought to what it meant. I just thought it was a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before I popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice. See, now I'm thinking: maybe it means you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9mm here... he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or it could mean you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. And I'd like that. But that shit ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd."

And that's why Jules was the governor in that game.

Quite a funny thread full of spam and and me ultimately being too drunk off my ass to get anything organised.

Aw man, reading this was depressing, though mafia was still kinda dead back then it was a pretty bad project fail... I'd be more interested in reviving this one, but no idea where I'll be next month ><

I was Mr. Blonde in Saf's Tarantino game--SK. Only like my second game, so I didn't do so well, especially towards the end.

Man, you almost telegraphed the fact that you were a fun role in Day 1. SKer's are fun to play, but hard to win with.
