Okay, I know you're going to hate me for this, but I noticed the border between Oakland and San Jose is different on the map and inset. In the inset, the border more or less goes across to the mountains, while on the map itself, the border curves south. On the bright side, Berkeley looks good! :)

Once everything is adjusted and the numbers fit, based on your judgment, please post an image. You might need to PM me as well.

I apologize for my aloofness... I'm making a big move to Japan soon and I have loads of work going on at my current job to clean up before I go. Thanks for your help... for what its worth, Redbaron is also back full time, perhaps he can provide guidance if I fall short as well.

Move Sonoma and San Mateo (Small and Big map) over to the left a tad so they're not going into other territories borders.

Otherwise I'm stickying this and conferring with Red and Isaiah.

Just my little nit pick again. My eyes are still being drawn over to the sun. Can you subdue it about another 30% or so please.

30%???? that's enormous!! It's already only at 40% opacity, that would only give it 10% visibility. Given the fact that I'll inevitably lose some color vibrancy I'd rather bump up the color of the map to draw away the eye. actually hold on I got an idea...

K, I lowered the Sunset opacity 5% and raised the color in the land 10%. Hopefully that should satisfy. I'll upload the new XML test in a moment as well.

The problem I have with this map is the whole flow. There's so much happening on left side, too much, and the right side is bare, with a few pieces of clipart that don't fit the theme.

The map itself looks nice with the pastel watercolor and the 3D mountain ranges. But stepping back and looking at it, it looks thrown together and doesn't.... flow. Cohesiveness?

I realize at this point it's too late, but I hope you notice this and on your next map will have a better layout.

This map was in the Graphics Workshop for ages, dear. You had plenty of time to speak up... You should check out the Graphics Workshop and comment there more. It's generally too late here.

yeah, I know that Vic. I do comment in the graphics forum. My comment is general for this map. It's not to fix a border, or check the colorblind values. It's the overall map itself.

But I'm still going to post my thoughts here. I really don't care what forum it's in.

(edit). and in general, major graphical comments don't really mean much. It's up to the map maker to produce what he can to whatever abilities he/she has. When I commented on how this map would look better if it wasn't a floating state, the suggestion was turned down as it wasn't the direction the artist wanted to take it. Totally understand, but I still wanted to make my comment.

Well thanks for your honesty RJ. I see where you're coming from though I don't necessarily agree. If you want to take a look at my Africa map it's in Gameplay right now viewtopic.php?f=241&t=125279
If you have any big scoping graphical suggestions for that this would be the perfect time .

I get your comments man.

On some I agree.

Bison has a lot of talent and Im not sure if this is his best work. But I do think this will be a good solid overall map. I also thing that it will provide some very technical tricky play.

I would not call it a bottleneck map, But I would call it a "hotspot" and "bottleneck'ish" map. But you know... I look forward to something different.

As far as graphics, I wanted to see one surfer, lol.. maybe a volleyball or a hiker.. but im a gomer and a goober.

Im ready to try this out in beta.
