We look at CC as a sport. We have the off season, which is where we usually make our acquisitions for the next year. This is also the time for scimmages, public games, and a casual atmosphere. The calm before the storm. We preach, we train, we conquer. This is where it all begins. This is the time when many new talents enter the scene. Where mere students, can be come champions.
Then we go into the season. This is where the League and the CCup take place. These are the premier events of CC for clans. This is where bragging rights Live for an entire year. Where the men, go in dressed for battle. Shields freshly bronzed, and armor glistening in the moonlight. The sound of a million soldiers, crushing their opposition, with the intensity of the cubes. We become stressed, our expectations rise and fall. For each battle is a different outcome. This is where we know who can survive, this is where generals are born. Where generals die.
At the end of the season, we breathe a sigh of relief. Pick up our egos, and brush off our ones; to their sixes. This is where we find out who fits and who fakes it. All it takes is the effort, not much at all. Brotherhood of warriors, bonded by battle and hot blood. Some will move on, and some will stay. The legends know, what effort it takes. To take on any opponents at any time, and give them a great challenge. We recruit to develop greatness, fundamentals, and trust. We strive to teach, learn, and grow. Our ranking is irrelevant, look at our love for the game. We play for enjoyment, with victories so sweet. Honor, integrity, passion, and ferocity. We take no names, nor prisoners.
