well i was wrong barce have beaten them 2-0 .it was a poor match with any challenge resulting in players surrounding the referee.Real had pepe sent off which didnt really look like a red card,Mourinho was sent to the stands aswell for a comment to the 4th offical.the class of messi showed once more with 2 terrific goals.so the final is likely gonna be a rematch of the 09 final.

I hate it when a megalomaniac like Mourinho wins

Real have a better chance of turning it round than Schalke but pretty slim all the same.

First Lampard's goal was more than a fair bit over unlike what you imply. That may have been a somewhat lucky call.

The second, was it kalou?, was scrappy and perhaps offisde but again the refs can't be faulted much there.

There was a fairly solid penalty claim denied for Chelsea.

Regardless the spurs were fairly lucky anyway to be even close considering how much they were getting outplayed. The two goals were scrappy, but tottenham's goal was compltely against the run of play and chelsea definitely deserved 3 points after that match.

Chelsea beating tottenham was the first out of the three stepping stones to the title. Now we just have to see if Arsenal can beat man u, fingers crossed.

for me, CL is always bigger.. you can win the league every year, but in CL you don't get a chance to reach the advanced stages like semi-finals easily.. also, in the league, you can lose many games and still win, but in CL, a tiny mistake can ruin your dream. Chelsea made a defensive mistake vs, Man UTD 0-1 when Rooney was left alone in the box.
