winning without attacking...almost

Post by Hatchman »

I'm in a triples game. Team 2 is all noobs with 1000 points. Two guys are on the verge of being kicked for missing consecutive turns. And the third guy is on his way to doing likewise. Each guy on my team has attacked and fortified like once. If it keeps going this way, we'll win by default, practically without having had to attack.

Weird or what?

Wow, 3 noob deadbeats on a team. This game would definately be better if noob couldn't join doubles/triples games.

You know what's happening two me? In one of mine Discworld triples game I was paired with two noob deadbeats. And the most annoying thing was that they were like: miss a turn, miss a turn, ran out of time, play a turn, miss a turn, etc. It was so annoying and I ended up getting killed in a game we could've won quite easily. In my doubles Australia game I'm paired with a deadbeat and I just hope he misses his third turn so he gets kicked out.

during one triples game everyone on my team deatbeated (except me) and everyone on the other team deatbeated. It was sequential so it took about 2 weeks for it to finish

When you hear stories like this you have to wonder.

Are people more likely to leave the site because their games are turned into miserable ordeals by other players missing turns and deadbeating?

Or would people be more likely to leave because they miss turns and don't get their missed turn bonus?

Which in turn raises the question:

which set of people would you rather have remain on the site?
Cheers,
