High Expectations
What things about CC did you have high expectations about, but it did not live up to your expectations? (or it did?)

Re: High Expectations
Tbh I had high expectations as far as dealing with cheaters but I was pleased to find that the system works very well and am impressed with the number of players who are busted and with staff overall.
If I was going to pick one thing that fell short of my expectations it would probably be tournaments. I still don't really understand how they are set up and how you are supposed to join them so I never have. Also, from what I understand the tournaments are pretty vulnerable to having unfair advantages so that deters me as well.
Overall , however, I really am impressed with the activeness of the community and think that is what makes this site especially fun.
Cool idea for a thread btw

I remember way back, there was a map in the foundry, I believe it was Castle Lands or a similar concept to that. But I thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread. To this day I have yet to play it.

Clans... seems all the clans are competitive and/or want a certain rating. How about a clan of the people?

Re: High Expectations
Its a competitive site, most people want to win and enjoy it. Most people don't look for a Risk - style site and going looking for a losing team.

Re: High Expectations
On another post I was reminded of something that I was a little disappointed with after playing for a while: People generally don't like to chat in game as much as I do and in general are a bit less friendly than I was expecting. Not a really a big deal since I can always chat with my friends who are on but just thought I would add it since I like this thread

I used to think that freestyle team games were great because I could just meet up with my rl friends with laptops and take the turns simultaneously. Then they quit and I never really went back to it.
