A good start, but at this rate, there's going to be, like 100 rounds, so there might maybe be time to catch up :)

There weren't that many post on your wall(5) so I felt it was okay to express my desire to hunt down the mole.
Sorry for adding to the mess.

Snoogins didn't play round 4 games yet.
Von Kaiser didn't play round 4 games yet.
Fairman is going to lose Feudal War (judging from the chat, he doesn't know about the decision that winning streaks consider "game number" and not "start/finish date")
Greeley Crow has 1 round 4 win but is in a tough position on his Montreal game.
Stickse is playing only 1 round 4 game so far. It looks tied.
Briggs1209 has lost 2 round 4 games. He should be able to win WWII Europe and advance.

If none can win 3 games, then I assume several 8-1 club members can sweep their way back into the GA medal competition?

well supposing at least 25 rounds, Im guessing that you need at least 70 wins to climb to the top of the heap, so it may be a little premature to celebrate just yet. For streaks, however, I think 12-14 in a row, whatever the current streakers... end up at will be very hard to beat. By no means impossible, of course, and I will of course try along with you and every other punter in here. If I was a betting man Id lay money on who-ever manages to come out on top of the intial streakers. (yes, pun intended).

Maybe Monkey will start a book on the streakers though. think I may already be sun on some of the over/under stuff, so im badly in need on some further weird gambling ;-)

Assuming at least 25 rounds? I think we started with 2500 people? with single elimination, eliminating half the field each round we would have:

RD players
1 2500
2 1250
3 625
4 313
5 157
6 79
7 39
8 19
9 9
10 4
11 2
12 1

So the 11th round would be the finals. With the current format, if there are still 1400 freemium players in Rd 4, then I would hazard a guess of 2000 total players left? To eliminate 1/5 every 3 rounds, this will last maybe

1 2500
4 2000
7 1600
10 1280
13 1024
16 819
19 655
22 524
25 419
28 335
31 268

and so on lol--31 rounds, if someone plays 3 games per round, that's 93 games with 93 potential wins and 268 players left in the tourney......I think there's a lot of room to work with, or else those 6 undefeated people with 9-0 records coming into Rd 4 are going to be facing a TON of pressure

if this current rate of elimination continues 44% eliminated every three rounds then
going into round
7 =784 players left
10=439
13=246
16=138
19=77
22=43
25=24
28=13
31=7
34=4
37=2

34=4
37=2

players in earlier rounds are most easier to be eliminated because someones joined more than 3 games,someones lost wish to play so just stopped joining etc. in later rounds that situations will not happen so you canot count that every 3 rounds will be eliminated 44% of players. it will be less than 44%.
