Is that, by chance, Hamburg? (The city, not an obscure film I probably don't know about involving mystery meat)

The license plates certainly suggest so.

Here's another location.

You guys are beginning to worry me, I would really have expected someone to get it by now I've given you two locations and the main role.

Hint: The movie is from last year.

I'm about 2 years behind, because that's how long it takes for DVDs to reach us here in the in the 3rd world, and I usually only go watch independent movies at the cinema which is again a few years after the rest of the world sees them.

But surely you've heard about this invention called "the internet", it's amazing for finding stuff.

A google search with the hints given so far gives me movie's title.

Even though I haven't seen it, I want to say Baader Meinhoff Complex, but the cars look too new for that story.

Then again, that last shot looks like Liam Neeson. Is it Unknown?

I don't recognize any of the actors, and my search fu is not working. IMDB location=Hamburg, keyword=machine-gun gives no movies after 2004. Google movie hamburg sud machine-gun or without the sud doesn't give an answer, nor does it help if I include 2010.

Taking out the keyword in the IMDb search gives Snabba Cash as a possible - the actor in the poster kinda looks like the guy in the 2nd shot.

Sorry, Ghengis, no win for you.

djak, you forgot one keyword: Sweden. There's enough legible text in the screenshot after Hamburg to figure out which country it is.

But you're right, it is indeed Snabba Cash

I hadn't noticed the cell phone billboard - all the other text looked Germanish to me.
