So Iceman what's the reasoning behind making us have to play 2 games at a time when not all of our team members are premium? The Bills had over a week to get their stuff straight and if they didn't, should be tough luck and move on to the next week. It's unfair to penalize our team by having us try to focus on 2 games at a time when that should have been a clear forfeit by them failing to join in a timely manner.

I didn't handle last week's games, so I don't really know the circumstances of why that game never started. All I know is that game still needed to be played, so I set it up again. I am making sure that this time it does fill up before it disappears though.

well we should have a set forfeit time from now on. if a team doesn't join their game in, lets say a week and a half, then they automatically forfeit and the W goes to the other team.

I'll also agree that there needs to be a set forfeit time set in because we wasted a space on our number of games allowed in while the bills saw fit not to join during that 2 week period.

either way its so much easier for you to set a forfeit time limit than for me to switch to premium.

side note: bills still havent hoined their second game.

You said you would make sure they joined the game, but so far only one member of the Bills has joined. Personally this is starting to piss me off waiting so much. Either get them to join or else give us a forfeit win as not all of us have nothing better to do than to continue to wait for them again. Heck next time if I'm on vacation I might just refuse to join until I get back seeing as to how there is NO penalty for not joining until it's "convenient" to me.

i dropped the jets vs. bills game cuz it was pissin me off. theyve had more than enough time to join. a few weeks at least. only one member of their team joined and its their second chance. either give us the W or dont count the game at all. i dont care but its taken up one of my games for too long.

Good grief, you guys certainly don't want to make organizing this tournament easy, do you?

I'm finding a replacement team to take over the Buffalo franchise.
N.Y. Jets, please do not drop out of your games. And please stop your whining.

Several team captains have gone MIA and it is becoming hard to get teams to join. Whining and bitching in this thread doesn't help. Hugh and I are working hard to keep this tournament going, and if a team won't join then they will be replaced.

well considering the fact that teams are finishing up week 4 now and week 3 still hasn't been played we have a right to bitch and complain. i'm dropping it to since this is bs takign this long to play. any other tourney by now would've awarded a forfeit for the said team not joining regardless if they are being replaced or not and since i've been in the stupid thing for 2 weeks last time and about another week this time there is no need to stay in it and as i've said b4 next time i'm on vacation i won't bother joining until i actually have the time to play or check multiple times a day instead of about twice a day like i did for week 4 when i was on a vacation.

why should we continue to waste our time that we put in the effort for b/c the tourney director doesn't want to take charge and handle it in a timely manner. we've wasted 3 weeks on that waiting and frankly i don't feel like putting up with it anymore and neither does kwanton when we did what we were supposed to do and signed in a timely manner. there gets to be a point where that game is in the past new team takes over at the present time.

The same thing could be said about why should a taking over team be penalized for the previous team sucking? They don't get to go back and replay those old games and should be considered in the same boat.

i will be playing all of my other games. i have joined the first 4 (5 if you count the double week 3) weeks within a couple days of each one being made and im sure most of the other teams joined in a timely manner too. teams like the bills ruin the tournament for the rest of the deicated players. for about 3 weeks give or take a game was taken up in one of the 4 im limited to.

ive been laid back about this situation but im not playing the week 3 game when week 5 is about to start. i honestly dont care what you do with it at this point.

I also will not be playing week 3's game either based on the fact that we're at week 5. When week 5's game is scheduled, I'll be joining as soon as my team is up to join it like we've done the first 4.

Ok, I'm currently looking for 1 new team to replace Buffalo.

We will put Week 5 on hold to make up these games from Week 3 and Week 4, so everyone just hang in there.

Oakland's team captain is not reading his mail, and the rest of his team refuses to join the games also. I don't think it's fair to award another team a win each week because of the carelessness of some.

N.Y. Jets, are you going to join the games set up for you, or do I need to find another replacement team?
