According to Fileden's facebook page, fileden should be safe to use now - google hasn't updated their security list so browsers still show the site as harmful, but it should be safe to enter now.

thanks for links.
why Wienn lies on two banks of Danube and Budapest (Tolna and Pest) are two separate regions?

exactly! i thought wien was a separate region with no name. it'll be obvious in a real game bcause there will be no troop count. wien plus linz is good.
thenobodies80 wrote:I changed the names in Bohemia with the ones you suggested, except for sudetes since I don't like so much the idea to use a mountain range name. I decided to use Preßburg, i think it could work.
preßburg doesn't work because it's real location is where u have nyitra. replacing the nyitra name by preßburg is fine, since preßburg was an important city where hungarian kings were crowned.
i had a look at a map and the most logical division of bohemia is to make sudetes bigger, call it prag and connect it to both the old prag and budweis. make the old prag smaller and call it pilsen, which is the only other major bohemian city. there are already three other countries with railway-track arrangements (all regions are in a single line). this stops bohemia from being a fourth railway-track country. sorry i didn't notice this before!
perhaps swap the colours of transylvania and bosnia with each other, so that the bluer colour is not beside the sea.

np!
I'll do the xml asap.
About the color, as said earlier, i prefer not to chnage it and take just a note for now, if it comes a large issue during beta I'm ready to change it.

I'm not keen in doing that change. To be honest, what I'd like to do now is play this map!

Re: Austro-Hungarian Empire
Hi Nobodies my old friend,
I hate to be one of those guys who come in at the end of the map and point out graphical concerns, but I am going to have to do it anyway. They are only small ones but I hope you don't mind me pointing them out.
Firstly, symbols for the thrones I feel need a little something to make them pop out of the map. Like a drop shadow or glow, just so they look a little more integrated into the map. Rather than glued on clip art, if you know what I mean.
Secondly, your rivers are dark blue, like the darker parts of your sea. This gives me the impression that they are as deep as the ocean and thus don't feel like rivers. Would you be resistant to making them a lighter shade of blue, so they feel shallower like a river should.
Again, sorry to be that guy. I would understand if you were resistant to changes like this at this point.

Gimil !
It's really nice to see you here around.
About your suggestions...no worries, I'm really happy that you have some advice for me.
Moreover, all them are small things and won't change gameplay.
I'll try to play a bit more with symbols and rivers asap, we'll see what comes out....
But I'll be away for a week, the next update will take a while.
Nobodies
Oh, btw don't forget to come back here to say me how the next update looks like!

Re: Austro-Hungarian Empire
Looking at the legend, I got briefly confused.
It mentions that The Thrones 'Can attack and be attacked by the territory with the same symbol.' I looked the 'territories' on the geographical gameboard, and noticed no repeating symbols. Then after a moment I realized the 'territories' in the upper left is what that block of legend text is referring to.
Anyways, once a game initializes, there probably won't be any issue since it'll be more immediately understandable I think.
I like the map though overall. The texture of the playable regions seems a little out-sync with them, but everything else looks pretty perfect.
Good work.

I was more confused trying to figure out what you were talking about
IMO, I think it's fine. I'm still eager to play this! I like the standard gameplay type with the little added flair - it's familiar yet fresh.

Re: Austro-Hungarian Empire
I like the first image with it changes. The rivers sit much better. But the symbols still don't pop enough for my liking. I think a darker outline would be better than the lighter one you have used. An outer glow, that doesn't, well, glow. If you know what I mean.

Re: Austro-Hungarian Empire
Visually it's beautiful! Absolutely beautiful, without caveats or provisos! God I love it!
Gameplay-wise I have some reservations. A victory condition that can be satisfied by, basically, holding the centre of map will lead to a lot of quick, lopsided victories. I would, quite honestly, rather see this as a non-objective map. Or, if it must be an objectives map, go with a more complex victory condition.
