This is a part of a new series setting down an alternative history of the Iberian peninsula from the German invasion in 409. The course of history will depend on the outcomes of the tournaments.
You will not need premium, but you will need at least three open spot.
We need players to sign up for the Suebi or the Alans. Gaelicians and Vandals are full.
[spoiler=the Story so far]409:
In the wake of the civil wars raging among the Roman generals, several German tribes cross the mountains into Iberia. The three main tribes agree among themselves to divide the peninsula amongst themselves by lots. The Suebi, under King Hermeric were given the North-West. The Alans, under King Respendial, were given the South. And the Vandals, under King Gunderic, were given the Central and Eastern regions.
While Hermeric was attempting to appease the local inhabitants of his allotted lands, his son, Rechila, was stoking the resentment among their warriors against the local population. This ended in a revolt where Rechila killed his father and took over the leadership of the tribe. Clashes between Gaelicians and Suebi were frequent in the ensuing period, with the Suebi being for the most part victorious.
Soon after settling down in his new kingdom, King Respendial fell ill and died, leaving the crown to Attaces.

Not content with the lands they had been given, Gunderic of the Vandals uproots his tribe and move south into lands occupied by the Alans.
At the same time, the Emperor sends his ally, King Walia of the Visigoths to aid a popular uprising against the Suebi.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=gameplay]The tournament will consist of two groups, representing each of the above mentioned clashes. In each group the players on each side will play once against each of the players on the opposing side. The side with the most points at the end wins the battle. The one player on the winning side who scores the most points will go to the finals. Finals will be a best of five series between the two group champions. The games will be sent out, one at a time, every two or three days, depending on my schedule.
Signing up you have four groups to chose from; Vandals (Full), Alans (4 left), Suebi (8 left) or Native Gaelicians (1 left).
Those who don't chose a group will be playing the Visigothic invaders. The Visigoths will play a play-in round before joining their Romano-Gaelician allies. Sign-ups will continue till all the four main groups are full, the number of players in the Visigoth group is unlimited.
Each group will be 12 players, the Gaelician-Visigothic alliance will have 12 players after the play-in round. So, how many players I accept in each of those groups will depend on where people sign up.[/spoiler]
