CC Clan Brawl - I
Ok people. I’ve grown tired of all the useless tournaments out there and will dedicate some time setting up a nice, good clan tournament.
Basically, the outline is this:
1. The tournament is open to recognized and active clans out there. (If you’re not in a clan, forget about it. If you despite this is signing up or e-mailing me, the Bushwackers will track down your games, sign up and then go deadbeat. So don’t even think about it.)
2. Each clan can set up as many teams as they wish.
3. The settings will be free with the only exception of the games being played as doubles or triples.
3. Each team will choose a home arena, i.e. a map with free settings (e.g. doubles, classic, no cards, chained or triples, discworld, free fortifications, escalating).
4. Throughout the tournament, each team will stick to these chosen settings. All home games will be played on them (and, consequently, all away games will be played on the opposing teams chosen settings).
5. One player is part of one team only. Except for the teams which choose a doubles settings. They would have to be able to nominate a reserve player (who may be on another standard rooster) for taking part in away games against teams who chooses the triple settings.
6. Each team play each other twice, one time at home, one time away. At the end of the day, there should be a fair outcome. The team that masters most settings will stand a fair chance of winning.
7. We’ll play round by round (but each round shouldn’t have to take more than a week at most) and keep a score table.
8. This would be optional, but feel free to pick a nickname for each team if your clans has several teams signed up. E.g. “Bushwackers - The Birds Who Bring Death From Above” or “Stache - Girlscouts”.
The Price: The winning team will get the honor of hosting the Bushwackers annual crayfish party in late August (everybody brings their own aquavit bottles, party hats, and a good mood, but the host provides the crayfish and suitable assorted side dishes).
So, any takers?

Perhaps I'm not understanding this "punishment," you're going to go give them free points?

Well. A tad bit far-fetched perhaps, but it’s a joke that refers to a heated discussion almost a year ago. The deadbeating rules have changed now. Before, if you went deadbeat before round 3, you didn’t loose any points.

Cool. Haven't checked this thread for a while. I will whip some Stache and Dragoon biatches in here as well and then start putting together a post containing the teams and a game list.
Good stuff.

We hail from the mighty Rougue State.
Our prefered conitions are: Doubles, Sequential, Flat Rate, Unlimited.
For the purpose of the Final, we will take the name: Rougue Squad (so that you could tell us apart from our Rougue State opponents
