long tournament, kings court should be released from beta pretty soon, and clandemonium might make it for the later rounds too. just my guess though

Due to the format of this tournament (each clan sends their complete set of home games 2 weeks apart), I'm just curious as to what happens if a beta map comes out of beta in the middle of a challenge. Would the second clan be able to use it?

Couldn't the first team just make sure that the player who was wanting to play the new map takes that game as an away game?

Couldn't the first team just make sure that the player who was wanting to play the new map takes that game as an away game?

Not in the rare case he's used his 5 games for the current round(s)/challenge

Or if he wanted a different a map (if more than 1 are released at the same time), or more likely settings, while less important, would be different

Lets keep it fair. Maps that are released from Beta during the middle of a challenge (after Team 1 has started its process which we'll determine to be the Friday before games have to be sent out to Team 2) will not be eligible for either team.

OK all the classic sets were done on time this week. I note that 1 challenge has already played (active) its Team 2 home games, one other has created and is in process of joining and 2 are still in need of some creation.

Just for scheduling purposes, I'm anticipating that the next round will begin on the 21st of March although it may need to be pushed back to the 28th if this round doesn't get finished by the 18th or so.

We have some large maps being played in the DB home games and some with lots of neutrals. Most games are in the round 4-6 range so it will probably be at least another week at a minimum.

For your games to finish, but should that necessarily decrease the starting of other match-ups we can already determine? Not a slight, and I can understand if Bart wants to start all the games together, but I'd think it'd be in everyone's interest to run it quickly since schedules will only start getting more packed as the different cups and challenges move on.
Also, if the current seeding is an indication of how close this duel is, the next round may be just as prolonged so it may be wise to initialize it quickly?
Who knows, the one who advances here may be involved in the most lopsided encounter in the next round
