I would go with the latter, from my experience she is not the sort of person to
give up a valuable piece of info like that if she could use it to her advantage

If you go back and look at the banter between MB and I, I didn't want to publicly give up the WC, but said I woud answer his question. you'll notice I used the word "zero" to clue MB in to a trick I know he likes to use of using zero size text, which up until this game we both thought was invisible. well it is in firefox but not in IE (Which I found out when I went to work the next day). Anyone can see it by "qouting" the text in the messages. I answered MB's question about the WC, and afterword you'll see he then trusts me. I'm sorry I don't have to time or energy to go find each quote for you.

Then later on when this "day" started and I quuestioned cowboy and later xenhu, i wrote in zero text again, this time in the white quote box so it's invisible unless you hit quote. I wrote "this is a test" to both, as I was testing their answers, esp. xenhu.

I'm telling all this to help the person taking over for me. I've asked Auto to replace me as I'm going through personal hell right now. I gave up a key word in the WC before it was mentioned elsewhere, hopefully that'll clear the way for my replacement. good luck town.

interesting tactic. unvote wicked for now. My head is killing me from school, so I don't really have the energy to think about this right now, but I'll put in my 2 cents soon

0 font? Lol, like a secret code. I don't think wicked/her replacement is mafia, nor xenhu. But that leaves us blank with no suspects, 'cept maybe those who aren't posting much.

Hope shit gets better for you, wicked. It won't be the same without you.

I went back and had a look at her coding with MB, and it checks out. Again, the WC thing is not total absolution, but it definitely puts her replacement on good footing as far as suspicion goes.

The whole concept of the zero code kind of wigged me out a bit when I first read wicked's post, but after thinking about it, the code isn't quite the panacea that I thought it might be. People quote each other all the time in this game, and mafia would be foolish to use it much if at all. Besides, it only works effectively when no one knows about it, and now the cat's out of the proverbial bag.

So now it's wednesday. I remain a bit suspicious of xenhu, but like I said before, not enough to vote for him.

I find it a bit disconcerting that, after exerting a lot of our energies during the marathon day one, combined with wicked's absence the last day and a half, day two is like 7 pages.

Hopefully whoever replaces wicked can bring a fresh perspective. But they'd better do it quickly, otherwise there may be another UCA-style lynch, and I have a feeling that we'd end up lynching a townie.

VGM hasn't been around for a couple of days, either...

I do apogolize for my inactivity. There is a lot of stuff to try and keep up with in this thread, and my schedule is getting very hectic at the moment. Due to this current week, I'm not too sure if I can play at the moment, so I request that Autoload replace me, if at all possible.

I'm sorry to let you down guys. I just don't know if I currently have the time to deal with a game of this size.

Maybe another time though. 8)

I saw XenHu do the 0 text in a post in this game. It was after your hints, though.

:? Maybe I got you confused with Wicked. It was at the Dcowboy's starting thing. Around the question time. It was when you and wicked jumped at him.

Everything that you and Wicked were doing seemed scummy, and it all seemed like it was very pointed and elaborate... Like you guys were doing it to show how UN-mafia you both were... "Who can be the biggest town leader/martyr?"

Usually, I find that the older players take it upon themselves to try that tactic when they are MAFIA.

Well, I know it won't convince you to identify a few of the words in a townie PM, so I'm not sure what to say..

hmm, I don't think that I have seen enough evidence to vote just yet. I will wait a bit and see what people say and how they act. It does seem that people are a bit suspicious of wicked and Xen though, so I will make sure to keep my eyes on them *watches*

Well, this is depressing.

wicked is leaving. MB, who I'd say is even better at this, is dead. vgm, who has talent, (but who may yet be mafia) has been replaced. We don't have any great leads, just a slew of mediocre ones. The WC is close to being blown. No one's posted since this evening. And it hurts when I pee.

Okay, that last one isn't true... but the rest is bumming me out.

Don't take this the wrong way, hecter, but I'm not going to wait around for some searing insight. However, if we don't hear from you by sometime tomorrow, it'll be looked upon askance.

I'm still a bit suspicious of xenhu.

I still think that there's a decent chance that either minkish or AD are mafia-masons. That's been kinda trendy in mafia games here recently, and while, unless I'm gravely mistaken, autoload hasn't used them before, he does have a penchant for advancement and innovation.

I have a bad feeling that the First Officer was a role we'd really like to have back.

And god only knows who's going to theoretically replace wicked.

I'm going to have another drink now. Maybe things will looks better in the morning.

unvote: Wicked just had to get this out of the way

well from my point of view things look pretty shitty. we have no good leads all the good players are gone or dead and the deadline is tomorrow.

No, I'm voting for you because all the BS that happened with Wicked is still ringing loudly in my ears.
