I could give you mountains of evidence how it's impossible, but I don't want to make this into a debate. That's why I said "Fantasy map" and left with it there.

Oh... Yes. Of course. My bad. I forgot that the earth is only about 5.000 years old and that God planted the dinosaur skeletons in the dirt… Oh yes…

"Sirs, perhaps there are those among you who believe you are descended from a ape. I suppose there may even be those among you who believe that I am descended from a ape. But I challenge the man to step forward who believes that General Robert E. Lee is descended from a ape."

I'd give my argument on how evolution cannot be scientifically proven, but rather refuted, and my argument on how Earth is only around 6,000 years old, how pangaea's existence could occur in that period of time, and the formation of fossils... But that isn't what this topic is about now is it?
My opinion as of so far is that there's too many small territories for it to be a workable map.

Lets keep this thread on the topic of a map, and keep all the other discussions in the off topics area where they belong. :)

Sorry I missed that. You need to upload the image to a site like photobucket. once you do that on the replay page there's a button with "Img" on it. click it, write the url then click it again.

Let's keep this off debating like Andy said, because you have no idea who you're dealing with.

Pangea or Pangaea

Post by Kayla »

Ive decided to do a map of when all the continents were puzzled together. Ive

checked for the correct spelling at dictionary.com and it says that both

"Pangea" and "Pangaea" is the correct way to spell it.. here is the link that i

will be basing my ideas and map from... but should i have the title of this

"Pangea" or "Pangaea"????

http://www.shredderlink.com/dad/maps/im ... Pangea.jpg

Would anyone be interested in me making this map?

This idea was tossed around before, but was scrapped due to uneasy continent and country splits and dispersions.

Once you get a working image up, then we can tell. I'm not sure how you will be going about creating countries though.

it would have to be current countries correct? we'll just say this is pangea before ppl and dinos lol, and so there were no names, and ill just use current names, would that be okay

I would do some research into it and find the names that scientists use to describe the land in that age. If you use current names it'll wind up being a traditional map all squished together.

i guess it will be hard to impliment.. but some kind of dynamic map would be cool.. where the continets drift apart and together and change which countries borders eachother

Upload it onto Photobucket or something, then copy the code that has [img] on it into here
ImageChildren, this is what happens to hockey players, druggies, and Hillary Clinton.

Rope. Tree. Hillary. Some assembly required.

i know the votes say to use pangaea, but i googled both of them, and i got 5 times more results putting in pangea, so that must be more correct
