Sorry guys. I spent the afternoon tweaking the server. It required a couple reboots which is why you got kicked off. I think I made some progress... but it is still overloaded. Please be patient, I'll do whatever it takes to make it speedy 24/7.

I guess I lucked out. When the server kicked me out I had just finished taking a player out. Had 7 cards I needed to turn it, and another player to take out.

When I got back in, I turned in one set of mixed cards, and it absolutely refused to let me turn in the other mixed set. Don't know why.

Then it let me back in, still couldn't trade in the other set, and was able to take out the other player with like a minute left!

Lucked out I suppose.

The system has seen a little slower to me since the last upgrade. Not saying it is, but it has felt that way to me., Maybe that game with 50,000 armies, that;s not a misprint, is robbing to many cycles away from the processor! lol :)

I was lucky that I had just about started my turn when the slowdown hit me. Fortunately the 'Begin Turn' button didn't work when I clicked it, the page just timed out. About 20 minutes later it was back up and running and I took my turn without incident.

No problem Lack. I mainly posted about the slowdown so you would know, or one of the Mods would tell you about the situation.

You do a fine job. Love the site and the game. Now if you would only fixed these afflicted dice!! lol ;)

Heh, that's why you do sequential. Doesn't matter about time so much.

Ouch - a realtime freestyle. At least with sequential it is just plain annoying above all else. Anyway, alls well that ends well (for my anyhow)

I just can't help feel as though i've heard this before?

Wait. I have, here http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... w&start=15, here http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... light=slow, here http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... light=slow and here http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... light=slow.

and those are just posts from me. One should note the time difference between posts.

Well if your going to leave could you please hurry up and stop wining to the rest of us about it! I remember playing a game with you (I think) and I liked you then and I've quite liked you in the forums up until now and you've suddenly become a complete asshole. Sure lack does seem to tweak the system a lot but it is only slow on those days, not for the rest of the time.

So, if CC is so rubbish, could you please f*ck off now and spare us your complaining!

In my book, a little bit of whine goes a long, long, long way.

While I doubt the site will actually run any faster if you stopped complaining about the site in the forums so much, I guess at this point I'd be happy to see the experiment carried out anyway just to make sure.

It seems to me that the work done over the weekend has made a difference and the site is performing well now. Am I wrong?

While I have experienced problems in the past, I really haven't noticed any slowness in the last week or so.

At the present time it seems fine to me.
